Mediocre stay: Check-in was conducted by a lady that did not even say hello or welcome me after I waited 5 minutes for her to appear at the registration desk. Room (#52) was rather small with a very small bathroom. Carpet had numerous stains. Amenities (which we did not use) seemed to include a nice beach area, docks, and a firepit with supplied wood. Parking was convenient and free. Price (just shy of $200 for a single night) high for what was provided. Overall, OK. You can likely do better for less $$$ in that area.

We chose this property because it promised a picturesque stay with an on-site restaurant. After a long six-hour drive without stopping for food, I was really looking forward to relaxing on the porch and enjoying a nice meal. However, upon arrival, I discovered that the restaurant was closed for a private event. I was directed to a local bar instead, but it was packed, as dining options in the area are quite limited. What a letdown after such a long journey!

Our room with lake view, deck and chairs, wandering deer, was all wonderful! Peaceful, great evening community fire pit (including unlimited free fire wood), and Super staff, thoroughly enjoyed our visit!

Enjoyed our stay from the moment we stepped in to our departure. The staff was incredibly nice and we had everything we needed. The beds are truly like sleeping on a cloud and it was so beautiful and peaceful! A wonderful place, definitely returning! Thank you.

Lakeside cottages and outside access hotel rooms. Perfect spots to hang by the lake with family and friends. CI has several tables, chairs, fire pits, fire wood, hammocks, a playground, and lots of space to gather outdoors. Rooms and furnishings were a little dated but added to the charm. It’s classic lakeside lodging and it was perfect!
