Room had a strong odour which caused a headache & nausea. Poor sound insulation, could hear couple next door talk clearly as though they were in my room which followed by hearing them have sex. I booked this room because I needed rest during travel and ended up being up most of the night with minimal sleep. The check in staff were rude. Do yourself a favour and don’t stay at this hotel.

Front desk staff were very kind and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and easy. The room itself was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection. My only complaint is that my room was not serviced during one of my nights despite hanging the sign on the door (but it might've been because I left the hotel closer to noon instead of earlier in the morning). Otherwise, I had a fantastic stay and will be returning during my next trip to Halifax.
