Good hotel with comfortable rooms. Excellent room darkening curtains! We did ask for room cleaning one night and came back to only two bath towels for the three of us and no hand towels. Not a big deal to get more though. The breakfast was good but does not include any sausage or bacon unless you pay extra and for some reason the breakfast room is chaos. Seems like there should be enough room but both mornings it was tough to get around. They open up lots of extra seating though including a banquet room in the back of the breakfast area.

Spacious and located in a very nice area. Walkable to local landmarks especially for people new to the city. Get ready for a few hills though if you want to head to the waterfront. The restaurant is mysteriously rarely open and breakfast was underwhelming. Staff were all very nice and we appreciate that they let us check in early. Lots of great restaurants nearby and it was a little quieter since it wasn't so close to the harbour.

This hotel is confidently located about 4 blocks up from lower water street. It’s all uphill! We had a lovely suite looking out at the water. There is a very nice roof top patio with great views! Great continental breakfast with lots of options. It would be helpful if the front desk staff knew more about excursions and things to do in Halifax. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is perfect and the staff are wonderful. Unfortunately for us, this is a pet friendly hotel and the person next door had a large barking dog. As well, the person who had the room prior to us must have had an animal Or smoked in the room and so it had an odor that was quite strong and we made note to the front desk so that they didn’t charge us for cleaning should this be detected by then. There was also a sizeable tare in the carpet. We would sty again, but strongly would recommend asking for a room not next to pets.

Location is awesome You can walk to dining,shopping, and right next to the Citadel.Close to the City Gardens as well.The Complimentary breakfast each day was amazing with great hours. Hot tub,gym, and rooftop patio were a bonus! Very clean and bed was comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel!

The location of property is awesome; however, the service is not great. I asked for bottled water and was told that the hotel only provides 2 bottled water per day regardless of the number of guests staying, even though that number is known to them. It doesn’t make sense that additional water cannot be provided given the heat and the inconsequential cost of bottled water. They also charge additional $25 per day for parking. If you are planning to rent a vehicle durin mg your stay, be mindful of this extra cost.
