Disappointing
We were originally in the basement and the room was disgusting. Dirty, bugs everywhere, poor condition, AC/heat was either boiling or freezing. We were then placed in another room and it was okay. Sadly someone had set the alarm in the room to wake up at 530am so that really ruined what should’ve been a peaceful rest. Overall disappointing and certainly not worth the money.

Liked that you are dog friendly. Loved the location and walkable, close to the waterfront boardwalk. Friendly, courteous front desk staff. Easy access to eating places, both take out and dining. Our first time to beautiful Orillia.

Everything was great. Great location. Quiet. Comfy bed. Clean room. Friendly staff. The complimentary continental breakfast sufficed, it could be better. Otherwise, everything was fantastic.

We had a couple of small problems with our room on the first night which were out of the control of the hotel itself, however the management were very helpful and receptive and moved us to another room. We would certainly use this hotel again if and when we returned to Orillia. Ideally situated, good breakfast and helpful staff.

This is not a waterfront property. It is a block away from the waterfront, and the area between the hotel and the waterfront is not that nice. Parking is tricky. You cannot park and chek in through the front door. You have to find a parking sport behind the next door restaurant (it's not obvious this is the hotel parking), walk in through a back door and take a flight of stairs to the reception. The front desk clerk who met me wasn't very welcoming. No "Hi" or "How are you" from the clerk. The whole vibe of the conversation with the clerk was like talking to a cop that pulled you over. The bathroom has no hooks or shelves to put your stuff. The area around sink is so tiny that there's no space for toiletries. I would not recommend this hotel.

Room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Basement rooms are small but comfortable. Booked through a site. Booked a night last minute directly through the hotel and was a nicer and bigger room. Walking distance to all of down town.

Basement room had a view of a brick wall and was across from a utility room. It was noisey. cramped quarters is an understatement. We didn't have room to walk in front of the bed had to shuffle sideways. No actual closet. Ridiculous high deposit required of $250. Walls not clean. Cable was out. Overall, we won't be back. Staf were fine, it wasn't their fault. And not enough parking on site.

Parking is a bit limited but they have alternative parking just a block and a half away. Great having the restaurant attached with live music on the patio. Two blocks from all the shops, bakeries and coffee houses and a block from the water. Excellent stay

The rooms are spacious and modern and we particularly liked the triple blinds that made the room lovely and dark in the morning. However, the parking was very limited right at the site and the alternate parking was fairly far away if you were a single traveller needing to arrive late in the evening. We recognize that is a feature of age of the building but it is definitely a drawback.
