Absolutely stunning property. Much better experience than staying at a traditional hotel. The room was beautifully appointed and freely cozy. We did stay during an unusually warm April. But they had a fan in the room and it did the trick to keep the room comfortable. However, if going on a hot time of year, I would certainly miss an AC. That is the only reason I would reconsider. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay.

I spent seven nights at Eleven Stafford Street in mid-March 2025. There are no on-site staff, so if that's important, you're in the wrong place. I like the quiet and privacy. The property is pretty and well maintained. It is conveniently located about half an American city block from a tram stop, making the ride to and from the airport very reasonable. The hotel has a direct dial into a cab system and the cabs were quick. There are plenty of bus stops and a Sainsbury's (grocery store) nearby. For those of you who, like me, possess old knees, there is a steep flight of steps leading up to the front door of the building. My room was in the level below the ground floor, so I also had to negotiate a staircase that had a single, very thick banister that was difficult to grasp. My room was lovely and well appointed. I didn't find the mattress to my taste, but it was fine for a week. My only complaint about the room is that there is no space in which to place clothing (that is, to unpack) for a week's stay. There is a desk with small drawers, but that's it. I did utilize the available hangers and hung what I could, but the wall-mounted rack didn't have a lot of space. There were hooks on the back of the door, where I could hang my coat, umbrella, etc. The bathroom was very modern and there is a handy shelf above the toilet where you can place all the things you need. Requests for assistance are handled promptly, and the manager and cleaning staff were very accommodating.

Lovely property. Beds very comfortable and room was very well stocked and in great condition. Only thing worth mentioning was floor boards were fairly squeaky and could be disturbed by floors above but not overly a bother for us. Would absolutely stay again. Really appreciated complimentary prosecco for our occasion. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

Great location. Nicely appointed rooms. The pre-check-in process and amount of info via the portal is a little overwhelming, but it was all provided. Parking is tricky and pricey in this area, and no option to purchase it with the stay.

Perfect A* accommodation

11 Stafford Street Town house was all it promised to be. A boutique hotel very close to the centre. Everything you could need for a weekend break. Easy access to building and to room. You can leave your cases in a nearby shop so you are able to walk around the city before check in and again on day of check out. I would definitely 100% recommend this hotel/room to all looking to stay in Edinburgh.

Great place to stay in the west end of Edinburgh. No keys required so unless you forget the key code you can't get locked out! Couple of notes, the pocket door o our bathroom wouldn't close shut and the temperature was very hot at night even when we turned the heating off! Despite this we'd stay again.
