This property was charming! The rooms were stunning and beautifully decorated. We were lucky to be on the ground floor, which was helpful knowing we had a decent amount of luggage with us, the stairwells looked tight. The building was a bit older, so the floors creaked and I worried about if anyone below were bothered by this. The walls were also thin, you could distinctly hear conversations being had in the hallway, which did wake us up a couple times. The bathroom was small but nice and the shower had good pressure and hot water, just watch out for the gap between the door and the bottom of the shower! The car park was a a decent 5 minute walk, we didn’t try to find street parking and opted to leave it the car for our stay. Edinburgh is walkable, and this was a very quick walk to Dean Village, and not a bad walk to Grassmarket and the Royal Mile. We enjoyed our stay!
