Great hotel.
Excellent hotel with bus stop round the corner to visit Edingburgh centre. Only stayed one night but great, clean and comfortable with excellent service and a good free carpark.

No air on except in reception. The hotel is very well insulated which made it too hot on this summer’s evening. Keeping the window open to ventilate the room caused excessive vehicle noise. The door didn’t fit the doorframe properly as the hinges had been broken - it looked like a forced entry.

Nice decor & ambience with good service & great pool, sauna ‘ steam room but some paintwork in the room could do with being touched up & the window frames needed a thorough clean. Bathroom new & clean. USB ports good. Could do with a dimmable light in family rooms

We were soaked when we arrived but Ana was very helpful and efficient in checking us in and explaining everything, we had a quick swim and then a bite to eat, The restaurant was very busy and so it was a bit slow but the food was worth waiting for! Breakfast was excellent with a good choice.

Everyone and Everything was great. Staff was so friendly and the pub in the hotel had great food and the staff in the were so friendly too

There wasn't a sufficient number of disabled parking bays which was a small issue for my elderly in laws with mobility issues. There was no socket beside the mirror in the room to plug in the hairdryer. My MIL was disspointed that the bar did not stock pale cream sherry (her favourite night cap). The bar was busy and slightly chaotic but the staff did their best. When we went down to breakfast we were shown which table to sit at but service wasn't explained. Fortunately my in laws were already in the restaurant and confirmed that it was a fully self service buffet breakfast. The bed was comfortable and we used the pool and steam room but overall I don't feel that it was value for money at £250 per night.
