Front desk staff were courteous throughout stay but were working alone when there were issues (approx 4:30- 5:30pm). There was a problem with the toilet in the first room, so they changed our room. In the second room, the toilet was backed up. They had no other room, but could offer us a plunger if we came down to get it, which we did and temporarily fixed the toilet ourselves. The next morning it was threatening to overflow again. We managed with the plunger again until someone was able to come up and work on it. Both rooms were tired (wallpaper and paint peeling in both, water stained lampshade in the first room, worn/stained tub, etc) although linens and hallway carpet seemed new & clean. We weren't offered any compensation for the inconveniences, but we didn't ask either as we were just ready to get out after the 2-night stay.
