too noisy of a stay
we stayed here the week prior and most of it was fine. The whole place was like an oven but in our room we were able to open a window to get it cooler. But this time our room was above the cafe/kitchen are and the generator kept going on an off all night long and we could hear it and we couldn't sleep much that night. Luckily we were only staying one night. Unfortunately, there was nobody at the reception after 11pm so I couldn't tell anyone till the next morning and all they said was thanks but nothing else.

Great place to stay!! We choose it because super close to the bus station and we arrived/left by bus from Chile and also took a bus to El Chalten, so very convenient. The hotel is new and clean. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly.

Destino Calafate is new built in 2023. The hotel is very clean and simple with everything we need for short stay. Lobby with hot tea is great for hang out before and after day trip. Front desk is very professional and helpful with trip advise. It only down site is the location, about 10 to 15 minutes walking to town. It can be hard on a raining / windy day.

Modern and comfortable stay near bus terminal
We had a great stay at Destino Calafate starting before we even checked in. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and answered all my questions over WhatsApp. They even helped book a shuttle for us. The hotel itself is new, modern, and very clean. Our room was comfortable with extra pillows, the essentials in the shower, and lots of shelf space for clothes and belongings. The only downside is the walls are thin and it was a little noisy on the first floor near the lobby area. This hotel is a 5 min walk from the bus terminal so it’s very convenient for that. It’s about a 20 min walk into town downhill then uphill on the way back, or a short and cheap taxi ride. I recommend this stay if you want to be near the bus terminal! If you want to walk outside your door and be next to restaurants and shops, this is not for you.

This hotel is fabulous. We stayed for 2 nights and they allowed us to check in early and then stored our bags for the day at the end while we travelled to Perito Moreno. The staff are really friendly and ordered us a taxi to the airport. The rooms are very new and clean and the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the bus station. Its a bit of a hike to town but its still within walking distance. They also have a great breakfast.

Great stay! It is a 20 min walk to downtown but if you don’t feel like walking requesting a taxi from the front desk is easy , cheap and super convenient.

Nice, new property very close to the bus station. Easy walking 20 minutes to downtown restaurants and shops. We had difficulty with room being too warm even after shutting off all heat but opened window did cool off the room enough. Staff was very helpful with getting us bus info and a private transfer from the airport through WhatsApp.

Good option near downtown Calafate.
Great value for a new and clean decently located hotel. Room is a bit small but management is excellent. Good breakfast. Excursions arranged through them were excellent.
