Welcome to our nature lovers’ retreat! We are located just 45 minutes north of Elk Country Visitor Center, adjacent to walking/biking to near by rails to trails. Our property offers beautiful views, a large private pond and seasonal trout fishing in West Creek. During your stay, you may want to visit some of the area’s many state parks, where you might stargaze, or kayak and fish at near by lakes. Hunting enthusiasts, make us your base camp during hunting season/State Game Land #14 . At the end of the day, relax in front of a fire with all the comforts of home. During the winter months enjoy all the fun activities like snow shoeing, snow cross-country skiing and snow mobile available walking distance to property.

Charming home
This is a charming, comfortable home with all the necessities. It was very clean and we really enjoyed the comforts of home compared to a hotel. The owners were extremely nice too! Thank you for an enjoyable getaway.

I was really happy with our stay at the Elk County Cottage. Rose, the property owner, was accommodating and helpful. The home was very clean with quality products available (shampoo, soap, pink himalayan salt, organic coffee, etc). Many items in the kitchen looked brand new. There also was an espresso machine. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. Thank you for a great stay!
