THE DEEP DIVE
All BeachHauses are engineered for simple, easy living. All BeachHauses feature self check-in and check-out. They're stocked with beach toys, beach towels, bath towels, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, olive oil, and cooking-ready kitchens.

Fire up the BBQ and grill a fresh dinner; the grocery store's 1/10 a mile away. Serve it atop a wood picnic table on the spacious covered porch, all surrounded by greenery and perfectly suited for pets. Later, gather around a stone fire pit under a starry sky or watch a movie in the colorful, wood-floored living room with vaulted ceilings. * I understand I am not renting the entire property, just the main house and there may be guests (with a possible pet) in the guest quarters which is separate but attached to the main house.

Wonderful retreat from the Texas heat!
This house was so quant, comfy and had everything we needed for a nice relaxing reset. Loved the back patio, yard and fresh air. Easy to work remotely. The management company was very nice and responsive. Note, if you don’t rent the whole house, you are sharing laundry and yard. It wasn’t a problem as we didn’t run into the people renting the guest room but is good to know. I would rent again!

Our family had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully kept up, well-organized, and peaceful. The large back yard is perfect for kids to run and grown-ups to relax. The sunsets were spectacular. We hope to stay again when next visiting Encinitas!

Beautiful cottage in Encinatas
We loved our trip, the cute house is decorated so beautifully and homey. The yard was amazing! The owners have taken care of every tiny little plant on their property, lots of love you can see. We will be coming in every 3 months or so from Texas to see our grand babies and will always hope to stay there.

Lovely stay with clean space, nice yard, great patio, bright living quarters, and well-situated location to local encinitas fare. Very responsive hosts made for a very nice stay. The only thing I would note is that, while disclosed in the listing, it wasn’t entirely clear that the fully-separated (separate entrance) third bedroom could be rented independently. It was not a big deal, but for a couple days there was a guest with a dog that could be loud at times. Would advise renting the third bedroom separately if you want to have the “whole” home.

Great bungalow near everything!
We came out for Thanksgiving to visit my sister and her family and loved staying in this property. The house was perfect for the four of us, the kids loved that they had their own room and their own tv. The yard was beautifully manicured and I loved seeing all the succulents while I had my coffee on the back porch each morning. An added bonus is the gorgeous sunsets right off the back of the house every night. We walked downtown almost every time we went, an easy ten minute walk and you are in the heart of Encinitas. And we were blessed with beautiful weather, so the day after Thanksgiving we were at Moonlight Beach and all the beach gear in the shed was a huge bonus for keeping the kids entertained. All the little details about the house were really thought through and I loved the help with the little instructions around the house on how to work everything. A great find and we will definitely be back!

Clean and bright with a very large fenced backyard. Easy in and out. A good supply of beach toys and a covered deck that became our entertainment center. We enjoyed the location close to downtown but not too close!

Perfect spot!
This stay was perfect! The house was incredibly cleaned and well stocked with everything you might need. The beach is just a short walk away along with plenty of yummy food and coffee spots! The location was easy to get to and the neighborhood is quiet. Our favorite spot was the huge backyard - which our dog loved to - and the hammock! It was super relaxing and just what we needed for a little mini vacay!

Perfect House Perfect Location
The picture and views of the house and property depicted on the website was point on. Loved the interior mod vibe, the backyard landscaping is amazing, the spacious deck offer many nooks for kicking back and enjoying the experience. During this time of the pandemic we felt very secure in seeing how clean the property was. much appreciated. Perfect location to access all you want to do in Encinitas as well as freeway access . Great experience I highly recommend the Mod Sea Glass Escape!

Beautiful cottage for family getaway
From the start until the end of our stay, Brenda and Georgia were very responsive to our inquiries and needs. It was also a nice treat to spend some time with Georgia when she took some family photos of us on the beach. The lovely beach home was spacious enough for our family of 3 and small dog. Our daughter loved the bunk bed set up in the second room and I loved the tranquil views from the master bedroom, living room and huge backyard. We really enjoyed the firepit and chairs in the backyard and roasted s’mores two evenings. We also loved our morning walks with our dog in the neighborhood with ocean views. Pros - cleanliness, comfortable bed and new bedsheets in master bedroom, large bottles of shampoo/conditioner in bathroom and new towels, kitchen stocked with plates, utensils, pots, cooking utensils, very close drive (5 min - 25 min depending on which beach) beaches nearby, very close drive or 20 minute walk to town/restaurants. Cons - it was not clear that the extra studio type room on the property is next door to the main cottage. The second bedroom and adjacent studio share a wall. The drawers in the second bedroom are super loud when opening and closing drawers so we were always worried about disturbing our neighbor. This was our first trip to Encinitas and we absolutely loved it. We would also rent this lovely home again and would rent out the main cottage and adjacent studio on our next stay so we have the piece of mind of having the property all to ourselves though we did enjoy our neighbor and her 2 big dogs from a distance during this stay.

Perfect for me & dogs
The house has everything you need. It was comfortable and clean. Check in was easy. Neighborhood is quiet and close to the highway. The yard is huge and perfect for pups. If you want the full house to yourself, book both Beachhaus listings as there is a big and a small unit that are private but share the laundry room and yard. Looking forward to returning.

Great House!
We absolutely loved this house. It is so well decorated and clean. It had everything we needed. It is a short walk/bike ride from the bars, restaurants, shops and beach. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

A true home away from home
Husband and I stayed for 4 nights. Very comfortable house. We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the open feeling of the house with its west-looking views and large deck - yet it feels private. House is in a safe and quiet location; we really enjoyed long walks in the neighborhood, and although you can walk to the beach, we drove to the beach and Seaside Market. Overall: bravo!

I travelled solo with my baby and stayed at the property. They set up a pack n play for us and had all the things I would need for my kiddo. That was a huge help! The place is so clean and nice. Love the outside backyard area. We will be staying here again for sure!!

Quaint and relaxing
First of all, I credit the property owners for outstanding communications and touches in the house. They made our arrival smooth, our check out great. Everything we inquired about was handled quickly and hassle free. Next, the house is just darling. We even skipped the beach one day and just relaxed in the back yard. It is so inviting and relaxing it was hard to leave. A quick drive and you are on the main street in Encinitas, you could walk but the drive was easy and parking was available. I am sure in the summer that would be another story, but it was a beautiful weekend in October and we had no problem. The beds were a little on the soft side (for my preference) and low to the ground (if you have mobility issues) I don't but I know some people find that difficult. There is a small attached room that can be rented, separated by a laundry room. It was rented by other people. Others were staying there, we didn't really see or hear them. This is also right across from the hospital, we didn't hear any ambulances or sirens at all. If you needed a place to stay while someone was in the hospital it would be perfect. Thanks again for everything, we hope to be back again!
