I recently stayed at Casa Misiones and overall, it was a beautiful property with tasteful landscaping. The glamping tent was incredibly well appointed with nice decoration, and the views were absolutely stunning. However, the property wasn't as secluded as I expected it to be.
While I was there, we experienced some issues that made our stay a bit challenging. For one, there was no electricity, which meant no lights inside the tent. Additionally, there was no heating and the nights were frigid. To make matters worse, there was no running water, so we couldn't take a shower, brush our teeth or flush the toilet. I understand that these things can happen in Mexico, but the hotel staff knew on the front end that these issues wouldn't be fixed over the weekend.
Despite these issues, the glamping tent was still a beautiful experience, although it definitely felt more like camping than glamping. I do wish that the hotel staff had provided some sort of communication or alternative lighting, like battery-powered lights or even candles. Instead, we were left to fend for ourselves.
Overall, Casa Misiones has good potential, and I would revisit once the issues are fixed. Despite the challenges we faced during our stay, the beauty of the property and the stunning views made it worth it.
