Fantastic stay, warm and welcoming service. Fireplace in the lobby, live music, excellent beer and wine list, Juniper is highly recommended. Loved the communal coffee bar and in room amenities. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed at Hotel Vermont for one night on Christmas Eve. Modern, clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. Would have appreciated a little more staff help with bags but I understand they likely had fewer staff over the holiday. Looking forward to returning!
The vibe at Hotel Vermont was perfect for a weekend birthday celebration. It's the holiday's so the lobby area was beautifully decorated and very festive! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. We loved our room & location with a partial view of the lake. The bed was super comfortable, and the space with pristine. Plenty of closet space, neat architectural features with two separate spaces to get ready, a comfy chair, desk area & bench sofa. Very pleasant experience. Thinking of making it a yearly tradition for my December birthday.
I’m pretty sure I had the worst room at the hotel. Right beside the elevator and coffee area, Tons of noise at 4am. But hey, everything was fine. Not great just fine. And sometimes fine is all you need.
Without doubt, one of the cleaner and nicer rooms we have stayed in and quite some time. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, and we absolutely loved the coffee maker and water unit in the elevator area of each floor. Being able to get my own oat milk and espresso in the morning, and seltzer water at night was the amenity I didn't know I needed.
Hotel Vermont is my favourite hotel ever. The attention to detail, the decor - everything is perfection.

Liked: Staff & service
The Hotel Vermont is fine. Not great not bad either. I don’t think there are a ton of hotels in Burlington so they have a captive market without much competition. Staff was friendly. Rooms are fine. A little pricy for what they are. It’s not a boutique hotel. Lots of rooms next to a parking garage. Close to the Main Street downtown which is very touristy and overpriced. I would dine elsewhere.
Facilities are showing age (e.g. no plug-in USB or USB-C ports; but clean and homey atmosphere.
HOWEVER- even though there are excellent coffe/espresso machines on every floor, the coffe was horrible; even the stuff we paid for at the restaurant. I think you need to reconsider your coffee bean vendor selection. We are not that picky; but we would have to admit that it was the worst coffee we have ever tasted, and we have been around.....
