The parking fees were not explained whatsoever, it’s 20 bucks per day and if you don’t bother the desk everytime you leave, you get stuck trying to leave the lot, because the payment exemptions they provided don’t work on the parking machines. I was charged $40 extra and had to speak to 3 different Hampton inn reception workers before someone was competent enough to resolve the issue. Pool and hot tub were shut down in December due to failing to meet city code. A hotel in Boston in December with no hot tub or pool makes for a very boring and dull stay if it’s snowing outside and not much else to do outside in the cold. The hotel had many areas in our room with small damage (lightly damaged furniture, replaced patches of wall that are now damaged again, shower and lotion bottles also looked dirty and not cleaned well). This hotel in all facets did not live up the Hampton Inn name. I usually exclusively stay with Hampton Inn, but after this stay I’m reconsidering.
