Nicely remodeled rooms in an older, worn property. Outside area looks a bit rundown, but is in process of being redone. Could use some flowers for landscaping. Staff very responsive to correcting minor room issues. It's a quirky property, so don't expect the sterile uniformity of a large motel firm brand. Beds, bathroom, AC all good. Fair sized refrigerator, microwave and a sink for food prep.

Quintessential motel
The hotel looks vintage, but reminds me of a quintessential little Florida motel. The beds were comfy, ac was cold, fresh clean sheets, fluffy white towels, great little pool overlooking the everglades. Best priced rooms in town! Would stay here again.

It’s an old building that needs upgrading. Low cost repairs like paint, screen repair, light fixtures and porch flooring are needed. Fencing separating two porches was broken and a wall on the porch needed painting after the AC was installed last May. It was clean, but I wouldn’t recommend it until it’s better maintained. It’s too bad because I’ve stayed there for 22 years.

This is pretty much a "what you see is what you get," sort of place. It is clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it's convenient to local attractions. It's not fancy, but it was comfortable - mattresses were clean, and comfortable, and the stay was pleasant and easy. I'd definitely stay there again next time.

Great overnight stay
What a lovely little place Everglade city was. Everyone knew each other in the town and they all welcomed us everywhere we went . The room was basic, but clean and comfortable and the shop , restaurants etc were all a short walk away. Made a lovely addition to our Florida road trip we are on .
