Paid for a cheap hotel, expected to get a cheap one with all the downsides that usually brings.
Not a bit of it. Spotlessly clean throughout, no worn furniture, quiet, not next to a sewage works or an industrial site, etc. Breakfast was good, made with high quality ingredients (eggs & bacon that actually tasted of eggs & bacon, which shouldn't be a surprise but sadly was) & was delivered rapidly.
Petrol station close by with a decent shop for unexpected needs.
If I absolutely had to find fault I'd say that the mattress could maybe have been better? It wasn't bad by any means, & didn't prevent a good night's sleep in any way, but if I'd paid more I suspect that that's the difference I'd have noticed.
(Also, you need to find a different naming scheme for the buildings. Block 5 is institutional at best, more prison camp than holiday camp, & jars terribly with the actual experience of staying at your hotel.)
