Staff were great, very friendly. Breakfast was fine--complete with a lot of variety. Our pet room was substandard. Felt like we paid more for the pet room and got a crumbiest room in the entire place. (We had friends also staying there so saw the difference between the two rooms.) The bed was horrible, sagged in the middle and on the edges. Bed placement was poor, right next to the wall heating unit so if you had the heat running at night, the immovable fan blew right in your face. Bathroom sink drain smelled very strongly of mildew. We were missing a bedside table and lamp (and a coffee table). I used a cooler for a bedside table. The vinyl room darkening shades were completely full of pinprick holes. The hotel was clean, including our room, especially the bathroom, but it felt rundown and mildly seedy with peeling paint and wallpaper and carpet in the hallway and furniture stains. We do a lot of camping, so are used to roughing it. Still...I don't understand how this hotel got excellent ratings.

Room was clean, but beds with their foam toppers were not very comfortable for me and my travel companions. Also heating unit is extremely loud but that is often the case with motel room thru-the-wall heaters/AC. Location was good and fine for a simple overnight stay.

We had to beg for hours for a bathtub stopper. When we asked for one the day before Dakota insisted the stopper was in the tub and we had overlooked it. When we told her the following evening she said she would try to get one and we agreed to wait and if we didn’t hear from her she was unsuccessful. The only other option- change rooms. When we were annoyed enough we said move us and low and behold they knocked on the door with a stopper in 5 minutes. The next morning we had an emergency and Belinda went above and beyond the duties of desk clerk to help us and we will forever be indebted to her. I honestly don’t know if we would stay there again.

Great experience for the price. The room was very clean, and had no strange smells like some budget hotels do. It was quiet, and felt very safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again next time I’m in Farmington.
