There were no personals in the bathroom on arrival, not even hand soap, then found a hair on the floor and in the shower. Finally called for a new room when I pulled the sheet back and found crumbs! New room was better...it was clean, had a fridge, had personals...but we could not turn the temp down enough to be comfortable. Even my kids that are usually cold were overheated. Outdoor signage was also very poor!!
Most of our stay was fine, except for whoever is doing the laundry. We had 2 rooms. In our room the bath mat had two brown stains on it and a towel had a small red stain. In the other room there were stains on the sheets and pillowcases. We were staying at the hotel to see a Syracuse football game which started at 8:00. We did not get back to the hotel until 11:00. We approached the front desk after the football game and the front desk person (a male) was very apologetic and worked quickly to get us different sheets. Another employee who was leaving her shift, upon walking out complained to another employee about us wanting different sheets a 11 at night. My son was coming from his car and heard the conversation. My son told the front desk person who was again very apologetic and said he would tell the manager who would be working the next day .Nothing more was said to us or done from the manager.
Carpet had not been vaccuumed and there were visible crumbs everywhere. Made us wonder what else had not been cleaned. But it was too late in the evening to request a maid to clean it.
It was huge but even after I called the night before to make sure the pool would be open, but when we got there the desk clerk told me the pool was closed for maintenance. They refunded my money but I had to find another hotel with a pool which ended up costing double what i was refunded .
We couldn't get a receipt b/c they said it would come thru you - which we would like. They had a convention and the area got really dirty. We had kids running around over our room until like 10 PM. A couple of lights did not work in our room, the bathroom is super small, no shower cap and the TV remote was a challenge to work. New battery needed maybe. Not a great place.
The bedsheets were not changed from the previous day, and you could smell the odor. The previous consumer left food items in the refrigerator that the hotel staff did not remove. I still have not received my email receipt from checking out because their system was down. I checked out 5 AM on October 10 and I hope I wasn’t forgotten and charged a late fee.
Housekeeping didn’t clean our room or provide fresh towels during two night stay. Large wedding in hotel that weekend. Bartender and chef provided excellent service. Food was great! No refrigerator in room.
