Beautifully renovated home tucked away on a quiet street just off the Porter Rd exit close to the UofA. It's always a good morning when you wake up at the Good Morgen Haus!
LOCATION: Unique location that is both close to the interstate (easily check out the other big towns in NWA) and just 3 miles to the UofA and Downtown!
WELL APPOINTED: Our guests say that we have the most well appointed VRBO they have ever stayed in. Good Morgen Haus has everything you need to feel at home while you are away from home! If you turn on the TV, you will find that it is smart (a little too smart so bring a kid along to help you). If you open the kitchen drawers you will find service for 6 and every kitchen gadget a chef would need (and I would know, I am married to one, yeah yeah lucky me I know)! And we all know women need at least 2 towels per shower per day (hotels can't seem to figure this out, but I got you girl)!
PRIVACY: The quiet street, fenced in patio/backyard, and black out curtains provide the perfect setting to wind down after a long day of travels or a fun night out on the town! Introverts can breathe a sigh of relief that there is not even a VRBO owner on site that you have to make small talk with!
CLEAN: We renovated using antimicrobial finishes...every faucet and handle is antimicrobial + we sanitize them along with everything else a guest might touch. We have the best air filters money can buy and purposefully have very limited porous surfaces. Plus I am a perfectionist, aka housekeeping's worst nightmare.
LUX: We can't afford the plush bedding and sheets that you will sleep on for our own home, enough said? The towels are so fluffy that housekeeping complains they take forever to dry, sorry not sorry. The shower is so lux that your kids might actually shower without a protest for once. The ambiance is bright, casual, calming, and just plain pretty.
HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH THE NAME GOOD MORGEN HAUS? Glad you asked! It's an inside joke between my husband and I. The joke started the year we were married in 2008 when we backpacked through Europe and stayed in my husband's 3rd cousin twice removed (or something like that) Bed and Breakfast in the most beautiful quaint ski resort town in Austria. When we arrived and convinced them that we were in fact related, the non English speaking couple in their 70's who owned the place kept banging a table in the breakfast area and kept saying good morgen, good morgen, good morgen, over an over again. Having no idea what they were talking about we just nodded our heads and repeated good morgen, good morgen back to them as we awkwardly slunk away to laugh hysterically in our rooms in our bewilderment. The next morning they caught us before we left and lead us back to that famous table where an enormous breakfast awaited us!
Oh, they were trying to tell us to come back to that table in the morning for a free breakfast...Good Morgen indeed! This moment started our dream to become Bed and Breakfast owners by the time we are 70. This 1 little VRBO is just the beginning and we can't wait!
