Bob’s Station & Motel (Kanosh Motel) is the perfect resting place. Driving from CA to ID we needed a pet-friendly hotel to stay. Bob’s has a nice grassy area right in front of the rooms with parking right in front. Upon our arrival, I received a text message from the staff asking what shirt sizes we wore. They left two free “Kanosh Motel” tee shirts for us on the bed. Such a nice welcoming gift.
The town of Kanosh is a quiet little place off the radar where no doubt everyone knows each other’s name! I definitely recommend Bob’s Station & Motel for a nice and clean place to stop for the night. Although there is no check-in office, the owner text direct and encouraged me to call with any concerns and assured they would be addressed immediately.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Vintage style motel - nice and clean and very good condition. Excellent communication with owner upon arrival. Overall my wife and I liked it very much.
I selected Bob's Motel in Kanosh because it had more than a barren parking lot that most other motels display online. There is a lovely front yard with green grass and large shade trees. We enjoyed eating our dinner outside. The room was small, but just right for a 12-hour stay! Great communication.
The room itself was very cute! It was clean and roomy!
One big problem was, that it had a very small tv so high up the wall at first we didn't think it had a tv all! They only use RUKU TV so watching any of the Olympics was out. Never figured out the tv at all!
Next bad issue was the cat piss smell on the grass just outside the room!! It was bad!!
Then unfortunately my husband sliced his thigh open from the bench right outside the door! Spent 2 hours in Provo at an urgent care.
We were just passing through on our way home from a road trip up through the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. To break up our driving a little I tried to book motels/hotels along the way. We wanted to make a stop to check out Meadow Hot Spring which is nearby so this motel was a perfect spot to crash for the night. Carey was attentive from the start. He made sure we had what we needed. The motel is adorable, set in a very small quaint little town. Our road trip was an adventure. Getting to stay in this charming little town was a quick but great experience. The rooms are small and not fancy but very comfy and clean! The front yard is very nice and felt like home. You cant beat the price for an overnight stay! There happened to be a parade the next morning right before we left, to celebrate Utah's Pioneer Day. That was such a treat to experience in this town. Highly recommend Bob's Station Motel!
The room was just as pictured, very clean and quiet. Parking was convenient and access was easy. Be sure to bring your own food and drink as there isn't anywhere in town to get something. I'd stay there again.
Vintage hotel with a family feel. Bed was comfortable.
Shower was a little small but I loved the vintage tile. Look for the Kanosh Motel sign. Updates to rooms are coming but I hope they keep some of the vintage feel.
Never met the staff. All arrangements and keys done electronically. Room was clean. This is a perfect place if all you're looking for is a place to sleep, shower and get back on the road.
THE HOTEL IS NOW CALLED KANOSH HOTEL. MGR. IS IN CABIN 2. Clean, no frills, quiet, old TV, nice comfy beds. I would go again because of nice people. Nothing at all except a Sinclair station. Went to Meadow, about 7 miles for restaurants, super markets, etc. A nice ride
A charming little old-style (probably 1940s vintage, I'd guess) "motor court" in the very small town of Kanosh. The owners have worked hard to upgrade the rooms while keeping the character of the place intact. Check-in was rather unique — one calls the number on the front door and receives one's key code for the room. Everything worked fine…A/C, newer TV, Wi-Fi, the works. The only real strike against the place is that you have to go 15 miles up the road to Fillmore to get something to eat. If you don't mind that, a great stopover.
It is a surprisingly clean and comfortable place. Unfortunately the night we stayed we had a severe thunderstorm that took out the electricity in the whole town which means we didn’t have any air conditioning for the night. It got pretty hot and stuffy in our room. We would’ve opened the windows but didn’t have a screen in one of them. I would still recommend this place if you need a place to stay.
The room needs better blackout curtains or shades. It was very bright in the morning as soon as the sun rose.
Check-in and out was simple and the room was ready as soon as I arrived. There is a general merchandise store just down the street with grocery items, plus. A bit removed from the freeway, but easy to get to the motel and back.
The mattress seemed a bit old and the box support was a bit noisy.
Overall a good value and nice place to stay. I would be happy to stay there again when passing through the area.
