The location is excellent and the staff is friendly. The breakfast okay. However, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, feeling like sleeping on a bed of concrete with protruding springs. After two sleepless nights, I cannot recommend this place.

This hotel was advertised as a 3 star hotel and we stayed in a 2 star hotel in Venice that was far superior with much friendlier staff a wonderful breakfast with helpful staff and Aurum Uffizi was quite the opposite with a room that was so small you could not leave the room comfortable as there was obstruction at the entrance. We stored the luggage for the day when we left and it was in the lobby and not secured. The whole hotel experience in Florence was quite disappointing.

The custmer service was outstanding. The young lady, Letizia, at the front desk was so helpful. She helped me with my phone and gave me directions to a leather shop among many things. She was great! Also, the young man, Sampath, who I think was a house cleaner was so helpful and friendly. They both improved my stay beyond measure. They deserve a big thank you.

Very centrally located, was able to walk everywhere. Is a bit loud until about 10:30 pm but after that it was fine. Room is comfortable and has everything you need especially if you are planning on being out most of the time.

I found this Arumu Uffizi on Orbitz and wanted to try a local hotel. It was "different" and that's the best way to describe it. I booked a triple room thinking it the 2 of us would have room to relax. Nope, it was an uncomfortable twin bed and a full size bed. There weren't toiletries to wash my hair. Just as well because there is only enough hot water for two people. The hotel was really basic, small in every way. There is no curtain or door on the shower, which was 7

This one is all about location. The breakfast was okay but not fantastic. The room was small with NO COFFEE. Not many amenities but the staff was helpful and pleasant and you are steps away from the Uffizi and tons of great restaurants.

So the hotels best feature is its location right in the heart of the old town area. So the sites are walkable as are dining options. However the breakfast offered is a mediocre continental one. My relatives bathroom flooded and I had to ask for a room change which did happen thankfully although not offered. The hotel plumbing is old and in need of repair. But it was clean and the beds are comfortable and room sizes aren't bad.overall.
