I would stay at this property again. It was very comfortable and clean. We were able to walk to a very nice restaurant and a beautiful park. The staff were very friendly and check in was easy.

Family stopover

Slow check in despite ringing to inform we were on our way. Beds creak and are uncomfortable. Noise from neighbouring rooms. No hot water and poor cold water pressure. Overall quite poor unfortunately.

There was a mix up with our room whereby someone else had been given it before we arrived although they hadn’t used it at all. The only problem with this is that the couple who thought they were in our room and had gone out for the evening arrived back and came into our room at 12.15am. The hotel staff had done their best to contact them during the evening but to no avail they even put a note on the door to tell Them their new room number but they even missed that. Everything else was fine though friendly staff and clean rooms albeit hot as the windows wouldn’t open very far. I would stay here again

We only needed somewhere for one night on our journey to France and it was fine for what we needed. We got a nice family room which was very clean. It also wecomed dogs which we needed. Basic breakfast and a little run down in parts but good location.

It was a great stop off with a room for 5 of us which i found difficult to find elsewhere. Room was very clean and well presented. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakgast is continental with lots of options. There was something we all liked. Great walking spot particularly as we had our 2 dogs this was a particularly good feature.

After staying several times at the Westward Ho hotel, I’m always pleased with the no-fuss, friendly, clean, and professional atmosphere. Once again, the staff did not disappoint – the guy at check-in was super friendly and helpful (sorry I didn’t catch his name!). For the first time, I booked my stay including breakfast – and what a pleasant surprise! Karen, who was there bright and early at 7:30 am, welcomed everyone with a warm smile and professional service. Thank you, Karen! It was great to have cereals, fruit, toast, and croissants available just downstairs – very convenient and a lovely start to the day. Definitely check it out, and be sure to say hello to Karen from me!

Lovely hotel

A lovely hotel with spacious, clean rooms and a convenient location, just a short walk to the town centre, and only a 15 minute drive to the Le shuttle terminal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out quick and hassle free. The continental breakfast was simple yet enjoyable , and catered for allergens upon request. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay. We would happily return and recommend it to others.

Not good. 1. The room is not clean. I saw women’s hair somewhere. In the bed 2. Why can’t change some new bedding ? Is not expensive. The bedsheets are pilling. Not comfortable. 3. Some odour in the room. Not fresh. 4. One panel of the curtain is broken, and I was woken up by the sunlight at 6 a.m.

Victorian seaside home - beautiful views!

Beautiful Victorian property, in a lovely area with stunning sea view. There are lots of amenities within walking distance including supermarkets and shops. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, with a reasonable degree of local knowledge. The room we stayed in was basic but comfortable. Wi-fi was reasonably good but the mobile signal on our network was atrocious (not always a bad thing). The bed was lovely and comfortable. The carpet was thick and comfy underfoot, but had definitely seen better days. The only negative thing of note is that we had an en-suite with a toilet and shower (the shower was perfect btw) - but the door was a sliding door which didn't lock, and the toilet was about 4 feet away from the bed! So, if you are going with your partner but you aren't at "that" point in your relationship yet, this may not be for you. Or just bring noise cancelling headphones like we fortunately did.
