This was a lovely, relaxed hotel with lots to do for the whole family. Tennis, golf, driving range, mini golf, volleyball etc and even a mini farm, horse riding and games room. Events such as walks and an outdoor cinema. Great breakfast with local produce, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. My son left his sunglasses behind and they were also kind enough to send them home to us!!
This was our second stay here. They are constantly improving the facilities and have outdone themselves this time with the great food and service. There are plenty of activities on offer which were perfectly explained in English on our arrival. The accommodation is simple yet functional, with views of open fields and Lamas!
Easy late check-in process and follow up by the staff to check for meal reservations. New swimming pool was much appreciated in the canicule. Buildings with a very interesting history. Very nice area of Anjou/Loire and convenient for visiting chateaux.
The Hotel occupies multiple buildings that resemble a former prison or school dorm. Very stark accommodations lacking classy touches. Beading, linens, toiletries are the cheapest quality. No robes or hairdryers. When we checked in we requested massages, they were booked by the front desk agent. Requested couples - arrived to find only single was available - yet there appeared to be fewer than 20 guests on property. Two interactions with staff resulted in the response...NO ENGLISH. If this is the pampering you are seeking on vacation, this is the property for you.

Upscale Historic Country Estate
A unique place to stay in the buildings of a historic estate. Be sure to book at the restaurant to ensure a table there is no other restaurant nearby. We really enjoyed the food and service.
Great restaurant, friendly staff, comfortable room. Beautiful setting, will stay again

Clean and functional
This hotel is a series of contradictions. The rooms are clean and functional with some really nice features coupled with some really cheap bits like awful plastic loo roll holders and toilet seats but good taps?? The rooms are housed in a series of individual buildings with car parking outside each one. The entrance halls and stairs are reminiscent of halls residence. The staff however, were all lovely, attentive and helpful. The breakfast is plentiful; it is a buffet with enough choice. The outstanding feature is undoubtedly the food in the restaurant, the food is superb. We enjoyed an outstanding evening meal with each course a triumph. However the dining area is a series cell like small rooms or an underwhelming ‘conservatory’.
Wow - what a place!!! The website does not do it justice. The bedroom was spotless, the beds and pillows comfortable, and the shower pressure good. The sink didn’t drain brilliantly, and the bathroom could be modernised, BUT perfectly usable. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff friendly. Local restaurants - all a fifteen minute drive away. This residence is perfectly positioned to explore the Loire valley. Will return and recommend.
Hotel is in golf course, very impressive entrance, and rooms are in individual batiment. The room is small but very quiet and relax atmosphere. Amble parking.

Good base to visit Loire towns and chateaux
You enter the complex on a broad tree lined drive away in a beautiful setting. Rooms are set in discrete blocks with high ceilings and are really quite grand. Room was adequate size with pretty outlook but bathroom was a bit dated. Mattress was good but main bed somewhat creaky. An easy chair in the room would have helped overall comfort. stairs in building are wooden in keeping with the building but this means you hear guests every movement to and from the building! That said our stay was overall a quiet experience. We were located near the main gates so a bit of a walk for breakfast and evening meal! Restaurant was a bit limited for choice but food was gourmet standard at a very reasonable price! All this and golf too! Would highly recommend for a long weekend!
We stayed here for two nights while we explored the Loire valley area and Saumur.
The hotel is a collection of 'villas' along the driveway, each on 2 / 3 levels with 1 or 2 bedroom 'rooms' with ensuite bathroom.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff.
Took a triple room but pictures look a bit bigger than actual size.
As it was on the top floor, the window was also quite small making the room quite dark.
Otherwise friendly staff, breakfast and overall location.
Other facilities such as the tennis court and basketball ground could do with a bit of refurbishment.
The staff were incredible, very friendly, spoke English when we were a little stuck and really did everything they could to help us out. The rooms are beautiful, spotless and the grounds are stunning - there are eight different buildings lining a very grand central avenue so you may not be in the same building as the restaurant but it is a private enclosed road and so very safe and pleasant to walk around the site. It is incredibly peaceful and a great central place to explore the Loire . You need a car or bike to get around because the Hotel is in a quiet location, but the pretty river town of Montsoreau is only a few kilometres down the road and is a great starting point for the countless vineyards, wine caves and chateau's that are dotted along the river. Enchanting

Golf hotel near Fontevraud
We booked to stay here as it was about the only place that we found offering both accommodation and meals on a Sunday night. We were disappointed to get an email 3 days before arriving to say the restaurant would 'exceptionally' be closed that night. In the event there were lots of nice places open to eat in nearby Fontevraud and Montsoreau (they helpfully gave us a list). The hotel has a good-sized pool and country location but the rooms (apart from bathrooms) are a bit tired with small beds and not much furnishing and the pool and minigolf course could dp with some maintenance. The place is primarily geared to golfing (it has a course on site) and I'd probably stay somewhere else if I came to the area again.
