Really can recommend it based on my experience.
Absolutely NO SIGNAGE or markings to indicate that this place is “STUDIO 9”!! It goes entirely by another name. The story is that it was frauded by former manager (I think) and is having to rebuild itself. I had to find it in the dark, riding a motorcycle and did not have GPS running. A real hassle. Get rid of OMEO signs and put up STUDIO 9 if that’s what it is. The smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. Heater was so loud that I turned it off and froze under inadequate summer weight bedding. I should have paid more to go elsewhere.

Instead of the Taj Mahal but I will tell you that for a little motel experience for the rate it was incredible a beautiful area and a very short walk to the downtown areas, and cannot beat this location

This place is the value of Fort Bragg. Walking distance to Glass Beach and miles of coastal hiking, fine dining, the Skunk Train depot, and the cutest little breakfast place with vegan options. Check in is always friendly and fun. It's a simple room with basic amenities, which is all I need for a place with so much to do! Thank you.

The bed was comfortable and room was clean. They get kudos for trying to be eco friendly but the dispensers for the shampoo and conditioner are outside the shower and not labeled. Also a room near me was very loud and there was no phone number in the room to call to complain

Once we found the place (there was a piece of paper taped to the window) the guy at the desk was a jerk. Asked me if he could take my license & credit card to buy an ATV, WHAT!! Our room had no local TV stations & this same jerk said the motel changed to Roku for local channels?? No, this does not work for local channels & he argued with me anyway. This place is a dump, don't stay here!!!

Positives: Hotel was clean and easy to get to from the Main street. Ample parking in front of your room and safe. The room itself was clean and had the basic necessities (fridge, hangars, shower amenities) Negatives: the door safety latch was broken, the bathroom amenities are placed outside the shower cubicle so was a bit inconvenient. The hairdryer in our room was noisy and stopped working after a few seconds of use. We were actually fearful of getting a shock from using it. We informed the Housekeeper on check-out. The body cream dispenser was faulty and didnt work even though it was full. The hotel otherwise is good if you are just using it to sleep. Be mindful the hotel is under different management, so it is not a Studio 9 but another brand.

Room was not very clean and was not comfortable and the shower was not usable. Water would spray from the shower head all over the bathroom when an attempt to use the shower was made. I do not recommend staying here ever.

The rude lady at the front desk asked me what I wanted when I showed up at 2:47pm. She said it was too early to check in so I told her I would wait in my car for 13 minutes. The motel is pretty run down but the room was clean. The towels were the nicest part of the room. It really is a perfect location to walk to the cute downtown and to Glass Beach.
