I liked the staff very much but this hotel on BW standards is below par. I didn't I form the desk of the bugs we had but it was better than the first room that smelled of urine. Otherwise it is close to stores and a very short drive to the beach.

Overnight Stay Before Cruise

TL;DR - mold literally by your head for sleep, poor service from the airport shuttle guy, standard breakfast, great location. We picked this location based on the location and access to a complimentary airport shuttle. Upon arrival at the airport I contacted the hotel for pickup as indicated. The shuttle guy called me and started yelling about where to go. When I got to the space outside where there were literal 100s of people waiting for shuttles and pickup he just kept yelling “white van!” Well obviously but there’s dozens of white vans! When we finally found him not even against the curb but rather in a center lane, he wouldn’t allow us to load our own luggage as he wanted it organized by stop (fair). But he stacked the other couple’s against one side and ours against the other with a huge gap between and st the first corner all of the luggage toppled over onto each other - no consideration for contents. Then while waiting for another group he had the music blasting and would pull the phone from his ear to yell into the phone unclear instructions about where to meet. Finally he said “you’re not here so I’m leaving” and hung up. Additionally there was mold on the lampshades, bathroom walls, etc. and the shower door was broken. The hotel check in was smooth enough. The elevator felt sketchy but wasn’t the worst. The food was not poor or great. Just fine. Loved access to the port and Denny’s. Though their port shuttle cost more than an Uber.

I didn’t appreciate the fact that I got a ground floor room. I went outside to see if I could see inside the room. Someone was sent to put the shade down but I still feel uncomfortable with ppl being able to walk directly up to the room window.

I cannot recommend this hotel . Pool was not in service, looks like a long time to fix. No eggs at breakfast , no lids for coffee cups . Elevators were old and needed a paint job. When I went to tell employees about issues they shrugged their shoulders . Avoid this hotel . There is I nice holiday inn across the street. Bob

They have done some remodeling, beds were decent. Nice having a Dennys and McDonald's with in walking distance. No fridge in king room, description said there was. Very close to highway, so it was noisy. Shuttle from airport.

Although the location is ideal, I was very disappointed in this Best Western Plus. Usually these are considered a good quality hotel and very clean. This hotel was not clean and the room was dirty. When I got into in the shower black dirt came off my feet from just walking in the room, there were two strange lamps on each side of the bed, both shades were covered with mildew and there was mildew growing in the shower as well. The toilet ran all night and the shower door would not stay closed. Very disappointing.

The hotel knows how many guests they have and they did not have enough staff or food for the morning breakfast. Coffee was out, food was out, and when I inquired about when it was to be replaced the front desk said that they were trying. They should pull some staff from other posts for the AM breakfast rush. Also our room's floor had dirt in the corners.

Firstly, there was a govt sign on the building that stated it was unsafe to inhabit. The room was absolutely disgusting. Everything was totally worn. There was lack of cleaning in the bathroom and all areas there was urine splatter on the tile floor and around the toilet I had to put down towels to walk on unbelievable was not a best Western plus!!!
