Definitely wasn't what I expected... Check in took forever. There were two employees at reception. One was new, and even if she wasn't, the computer was down. I was still very patient. But a big sign for me was that as I waited, 2 customers came down to complain about incorrect charges, etc.
Finally got checked in, the room had a very unpleasant smell (dog urine), shower looked dirty. Also had a dog barking very loudly in and adjacent room. I didn't realize that this was a pet-friendly hotel, which is fine, but they should try to be a bit more intentional about where they place them. It should be specified rooms only, away from guests without pets. They also need to clean them thoroughly The room was changed once we raised the complaint, which was slightly better in terms of the smell. The hotel still gets 3 stars because of the free shuttle from airport and the breakfast, especially the pancakes, was great! I most likely would not stay there again :(
