Welcome to Destin West Gulfside #407! I'm Frank, your host for this great vacation property. This very nice beach condo is a 1 bedroom + 1 bunk room and 2 full bath. This beach condo is located in the Gulfside building at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. The resort has direct beach access, many pools, hot tubs, and a lazy river. This condo provides a great view of the beach, pool, sunsets, and the city! This is a great vacation destination.

I am dedicated to providing my guests excellent service and a nice vacation rental. With this vacation rental you receive a very comfortable and nicely decorated unit. To help improve your stay we provide extra housekeeping amenities not typically found with other rentals such as beach towels, laundry detergent, bath soaps, keurig w/ starter pods, and more. Truly a great place to stay!

There isn’t anything negative I could say about this property! It truly was perfect for our family of 4! Having free beach service with access to all the pools at the property was an added bonus that made our stay perfect! The entire property was so clean! I was truly very impressed! We will be back, and will for sure book this property again!

great place

condo had everything we needed, clean, great communication with manager, beach service was awesome, and lots of restaurants - things to do within walking distance. The only down side was the pool, they leave the lights on 24hrs and they blink and strobe and change colors, very distracting - they should shut those off when the pool closes but I'm sure that is something to take up with the HOA. Otherwise we enjoyed our vacation immensely !

Great place. I wish i could stay there forever. I had Quick respond to any questions. One tip: bring your dish sponge or cloth. They have body boards there. 2 chairs and umbrella are included in your stay on the Beach. Just register with the guy in a little white booth on the beach. The hotel has everything to enjoy stay with kids . If you have toddlers there is a wonderful beach 1 min drive away from this hotel where the water is super shallow for almost 100 yards long .

The condo was very clean and just as listed. The beds were comfortable and the view was beautiful. It was nice to be steps from the beach and having beach service included was a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Great vacation Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Destin West Beach and Bay resort. The location to the Beach was perfect and the complimentary beach service was a plus also. We were also pleased with the location to the local restaurants and activities that Destin and Ft. Walton Beach have to offer.

Amazing Stay

My family (2 adults, 4 children) recently vacationed at Frank’s place (Aug 2023). Communication with Frank was easy as he is quick and responsive. Check in was simple and required us to just show up at the door. The apartment was immaculate and fit all of us comfortably. The view of the gulf, pier and pool was magnificent. Easy access to beach and pool. Short walk to lazy river with convenient bridge walkway. Great location with access to supermarkets, gas stations and gift shops. Also great location if you are looking to visit Destin. Pool towels a plus!!!! Also, Frank leaves necessary items like dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, coffee, salt/pepper, etc. We had the most magnificent time and witnessed such natural beauty and wildlife. My family will definitely be back!!!!!

Family Vacation

Beautiful property! Everything was great! Love the pools, easy access to the beach and bay. The balcony was our breakfast spot to enjoy the shade and watch dolphins in the morning! We really loved it! (None of the TV remotes work - but we don't really watch TV any way - Putting this here because its an easy fix and the mgmt needs to know). Thank you so much for hosting us! We would love to stay here again!

Wonderful Condo

We stayed the first week in May and the condo was exactly as pictured and described. This was our first trip to the Destin/Fort Walton area and we had a wonderful time. The color of the gulf water is amazing and the beach was clean. We saw several dolphins from the pier. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and an amazing view

Came here with our family of four. Two teenage girls that had a blast with all the amenities between the two buildings. We were able to reserve our beach chairs with no issues! So nice that is included in the cost. We had everything we needed to cook basic meals and coffee 😁 Definitely recommend this property!

Just what we needed!

Wonderful property! Condo was exactly as listed and the pictures from the balcony are accurate. Check on simple and we loved the door code... Not having to worry about a key on the beach was nice. I always have a list of condo necessities; things we need and always forget for example laundry detergent, beach towels, sugar, salt & pepper, vegetable oil, can opener and a pizza cutter. So I was delighted to see that Frank had thought of everything and it was all already there. The umbrella and beach chairs were an added bonus but make sure to line up early to get the front row as it is first come. Pool on Gulf side was wonderful and not too crowded. Walk to car- easy (park on 4th floor and print your window permit). Walk to beach- make sure to go down the elevator located at the end toward the beach. If it gets too busy on the beach by the condo, take a walk toward Destin, after Beasley Park, it empties out. Sunsets are beautiful and the pier is very close and makes an amazing picture background. Would definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful vacation. Loved the location! The condo was clean and well stocked. The beds were cozy and the view was great. We drank coffee and watched the dolphins every morning from the balcony. I highly recommend!

Clean and beautiful

The property was just as pictured. I was very pleased with the level of cleanliness when we arrived. Great spot for a family. My 2 younger children loved the bunks while my older daughter was very happy she had a full sized pull out couch. The property manager was informative and responded extremely quickly to any questions. This was our 3rd year staying at Destin West and this condo was by far our favorite property we’ve stayed in there. We will definitely be back.

Great Condo!

I arrived to a condo that was much better than the photos. Condo had just been freshly painted a new color. Condo was super clean and beautiful. View was amazing! Kids loved the bunk beds. Resort was great with lots of pools. Going to beach was quick and easy. Had a great time and would definitely return for a longer stay.

The condo lacked general upkeep. The master toilet ran constantly, the hall Shower didn’t drain, the kitchen was drab, finish coming off kitchen cabinets. The master bedroom was very dark and uninviting. Over all the condo needed some Updates and love.

Great week on Okaloosa Island

This is our fifth year coming to Destin West and also the fifth different unit we have stayed in. This one is top two based on the location in the building, amenities, and cleanliness. Having beach service included is a HUGE plus! We will book this unit again if it is available the next time we plan a trip to the Destin/Ft Walton Beach area.

Family Vacation

The property was great for our needs. The walk to the pool and the beach is minutes, and having a standing reservation for beach chairs and an umbrella, plus beach towels in the room, was really appreciated. My only complaint is that the shower in the master bathroom has a drainage issue so when you showered you also stood in three inches of water.
