The patio entrance is from the living room as well as the master bedroom. 42" LCD/HD TV in the living room. Gorgeous wooden table for 6 in the dining area where you have a DIRECT Gulf view. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner around this classy table while having the huge glass balcony doors provide you with the most incredible views. Enjoy family nights here in 5003, after a toasty, fun-filled day on the beach, you're guaranteed to be exhausted. There is a sectional in the living room for your enjoyment! Snuggle into this comfortable living room and turn on a movie, it won't take long for everyone to fall soundly asleep. Islander Beach Resorts have access to one of Okaloosa Island's largest gulf-side pools, a shuffleboard court, and a barbeque grill area. Wonderful stay!
Our family had a wonderful stay at The Islander. Our accommodations were just what we needed with beautiful Gulf of Mexico views. The white sand beach was amazing and Ian, our beach attendant, was outstanding! Condo in low-key area, but close to restaurants, grocery store and more. Looking forward to coming back!

Beautiful place- everything was great. The unit air conditioning broken, warm inside. Hannah took the phone call and was extremely helpful and very professional. Ac company equally professional ! Unfortunately, we had a sick kid inside and felt a little awkward with having someone in the unit because it did take him all day to fix. I feel like someone should check during cleaning that all that is in working order. Especially since you check in so late on the first day. But honestly- Hannah was fantastic.

Though circumstances were difficult…family burial…broken ankle…we truly enjoyed our stay! So much so that plans were being made before we even left! Family is important to us! It was just what we all needed!

Great family place.
Overall, this is a great condo and will definitely return to it. It is very spacious for our family of 7, and plenty of beds. A couple of thoughts to better accommodate future guests, kitchen is not well stocked with utensils. Dishwasher needs updating. Found the coffee table had a broken leg when tried to move it to use sofa bed, and arm of dinning room chair is broken. Also, carpet in living room needed to be vacuumed.

UP UP Vacation
Beautiful condo, location perfect for reading books, listening to the waves, and the balcony cover keeps dry even in a storm. Be careful going from inside to balcony. The threshold is much taller than you expect. We got in a habit of laughing while saying "UP UP"! It's a toe stumping kind of threshold. It's main purpose is to keep the home sealed during storms/hurricanes. We put a red object in front of it to remind us to step high. It could use glow in the dark caution on it. UP UP is now a fun reminder of our great vacation!

Property is very nice. The view is great. The only issue we had was the oven was not working. Found out this was a known problem that was not fixed. Also, dishwasher missing roller on bottom tray. Did not always release soap and clean dishes. Stove was replaced after I called.

Very pleased with the area the condo was in. The condo was one of the cleanest I have been in. Plenty of room. The children’s books were a hit with the 1 year old. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the bathroom shower fixtures. Not much pressure.

Gorgeous Condo
First of all let me say the layout of this condo is fabulous for a family of 7. We all had our privacy and plenty of room while we were in the condo. The only thing I would say is it needs new couches. The pull out couch that was advertised was broken and we had to call Brooks and Shorey who quickly brought us a roll away bed. Overall we LOVED the condo and would reccommend renting this condo.

Absolutely beautiful condo in perfect condition w/amazing view!
I was contacted by email, told how to get ahold of them thro the app. They sent me everything needed to check in when we arrived. Condo was perfect for our family. The only down side was the ugly traffic going onto the island, but that is in no way their fault. They supplied extra of everything needed and the only thing needed for the kitchen...was the food lol. We will definitely use this location and Brooks and Shory when we come back.

We loved The Islander. The beach service was awesome, condo was clean and supplied with everything we needed, and pool was clean and large enough to accommodate several families. Furniture in living room could stand to be updated but otherwise we loved 5003.

Great Vacation!!
We chose this area because we were afraid Destin and Miramar would be too crowded during the pandemic. I am so glad we came! The beach wasn’t crowded, the condo was clean and exactly how it was pictured. Three bathrooms and three bedrooms were perfect for our family of 5!! They are renovating the outside of the Islander, so there was noise and dust. But, it didn’t bother us. We could barely hear it in our unit, and, we were at the beach or pool while they were working. The only negative was that the elevator was hit or miss if it was working. I just felt bad for an older couple that seemed to struggle with the stairs. :( But, we will for sure stay here again and in this unit. It was a perfect get-away!!!!!

Very spacious, loved that each bedroom had adjoining bathroom. Would have liked for beds to have been bigger, description stated Queen but seemed to be just a standard size. Our family usually goes out for dinner meals but with COVID-19 we did a lot of cooking in. The kitchen had only had 1 medium & 1 small skillet. I suggest you bring electric skillet with you if you plan on cooking. There is plenty of plates & silverware. View of beach was exceptional from the balcony. Elevator, stairs & trash chute was close by. Morning coffee & beach view from balcony was exceptional. Balcony furniture was taller pub type which was great to be able to see over railing. Overall was a great condo & great time. I will definitely be back.
