The property was exactly what we were looking for as far as location, view and access to the beach. We appreciated the heated pool and hot tub as well. Unfortunately we rated our overall stay as a 3 for a couple of reasons. When we first arrived, the unit had a very strong seafood odor, we went down to the front desk asking if they might have any spray or something to help, he offered us fabulosa cleaner to spray around the unit. We appreciated the offer but weren’t exactly happy about it, we ended up opening up the balcony door and airing it out, and later realized the rug in the kitchen was the reason for the smell. The other cleanliness issue we had was the leather couch was sticky, we could clearly telll something had been spilled on it, we went ahead and wiped it off ourselves.
The major issue we encountered was not having wifi during our stay. My significant other and I are here visiting family from Germany and that was a big inconvenience since we relied on wifi to communicate with everyone. I let the front desk know the network wasn’t coming up for us to connect shortly after checking in, we reset the router, still didn’t work, he said he would have someone come up to take a look, no one came. We went down the next day to get the issue resolved, he said he would have someone contact us, we got the phone call a little while later, they had us connect to a different unit for the time being, which ended up being spotty and barely worked. I usually wouldn’t like to complain about wifi because hey, we’re on the beach and on vacation, but due to our circumstance it was very important and an accommodation we were expecting to have. Unfortunately, we felt very brushed off by management, however we still made the most out of the stay. I hope they get these issues resolved for the next people staying.
