We strongly recommend this property for families looking to experience a bit of forest resort life in Costa Rica. Regarding the hotel itself, the bathroom was excellent - strong water pressure and high-quality toiletries. The staff were very responsive; they immediately fixed the wifi after we let them know it wasn't working and delivered blankets after reception hours. Breakfast was outstanding with a buffet of hot, cold, sweet, and savory options (there was also an omelette bar). There was a fridge but no microwave (we booked a superior room). This resort shines in its waterfalls and thermal springs. The trails to the waterfalls were impeccably maintained with attendants on hand to keep an eye on cars, take family pictures, and monitor belongings if you would like to take a dip. The thermal pools (10 pools, volcanic mud, 2 cold showers) were outstanding; there are towels and lockers available at the trailhead and attendants watching over your belongings at the actual pools. The locker rooms to change into swimsuits were well-maintained and appointed. You can book all kinds of activities at reception, but we found the included ones to be sufficient.

It was a great stay

This is an amazing place to visit if you want peace and quiet . Perfect place to immerse yourself in the nature. Getting there is a long trip but well worth it.

Villa avec des employés très engagés à assurer notre bien-être. Belle vue pour le coucher du soleil. La piscine, mud bath et les thermales sont très bien entretenus. Point négatif : le transport vers les chambres se fait en véhicule à moteur, ce qui est tout à fait compréhensible étant donné l’éloignement des chambres par rapport à la réception, au restaurant et à la piscine. Cependant, d’un point de vue environnemental, ce n’est pas idéal. L’équipe devrait envisager de se doter d’une flotte de véhicules électriques.

We enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was excellent. The pool and garden area is lovingly tended and is beautiful. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Highly recommend if you want an authentic Costa Rican experience!
