When I arrived at 1900 the day of my check-in, no one was at the front desk to help me check in. The keys were not in the box out front like the email instructed, so I had to walk over to the restaurant to ask for help. A waiter found the person working the front desk, and directed him over to me. I finally got checked in, and thought the room was satisfactory and clean. Since the hotel does not have AC, I had to leave my windows open and was woken up at dawn to a very loud delivery being unloaded to the hotel restaurant right below my window. When I tried to check out the following afternoon at 1100, no one was at the front desk again and I had to wait 10 min before someone came downstairs to help. They also don’t have a place to store luggage and had multiple suitcases against the wall of the tiny entryway to the hotel. Overall, I would NOT recommend this staying at Paulaner am Dom. The location was central to sightseeing, and easily walkable. But those benefits did not outweigh the negatives in my experience.
