The property was under construction, but it didn’t make anything inconvenient. The desk staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Everything you could need was provided - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, shower cap, hair dryer, extra towels, coffee and cream/sugar, mini fridge, ice bucket, wine glasses, bathrobes; I don’t think I forgot anything. The fireplace was a great feature and definitely heats the place up. I took advantage of the jetted tub, which was nice. We both had a massage at the spa that was awesome! You get use of the sauna, which was lovely, and there is a steam room that is getting updated. The grounds are beautiful. We walked to the top of Buttermilk Falls, there’s gazebos, fire pit areas, ponds. I can’t wait to go back during the summer and check it out in all its glory.

We should have been informed prior or at time of booking, and offered some compensation for our stay being the fact that the property was under renovation - so a bit inconvenient arriving thru back and going down stairs with luggage . Continental breakfast was offered as compensation for this inconvenience and a $10 coupon for spa service -there was no full hot breakfast offerings/menu as well and no microwave in the room or water bottles /drinks . It was nonetheless clean , had a quaint library shelf wall and cozy fireplace along with a heated lamp light in the jacuzzi style bathroom.

The stay was originally all good expect for the experience we had on 11/30 night. There was a banquet at the entrance and the guests blocked the way. The people there don’t care about guests who need to enter the hotel. I will have to pass through all those people, turning left and right in between those people, while I am holding a little kid. There is no staff by that time to clear the way for other guests

The property was quaint and filled with beautiful artwork, the fireplace in the main room was welcoming and comforting. They provided cookies, coffee, tea, and water which was a warm touch of hospitality. The room was spacious and bed comfortable and good shower pressure. I just wish the balcony was bigger with a different view. We had the parking lot view. Would still recommend to friends and family.

The staff from the time you arrive to the time you get into your car to leave are so friendly and professional. The lobby and sitting area are warm and relaxing. Had excellent massage with Tasha. The spa with steam, sauna, and relaxing rooms after massage were perfect.

I had a very short visit. I appreciated the cookies and tea choices on arrival. The room was big and clean. My only criticism is the heating unit in the room was very loud. It woke me several times during the night.

This was our second stay at La Tourelle. It was peaceful, restful, and lovely. The property is beautiful, and the staff is very friendly. However, things are a bit run down...dripping tub faucet, bathroom vanity needs a little TLC, etc.
