Bellavista is appropriately named. I never got tired of looking over the lake at the Osorno Volcano. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in a very beautiful place overlooking the lake. But it’s a very dated hotel and in desperate need of a refurbishment. The lighting in the room and bathroom is also very poor and dim. It takes almost 10-15 minutes of running the shower to get tepid water at best. We complained numerous times about the lack of hot water but were always told that it’s all working fine and that the water is hot. The manager was nowhere to be found.

HĂŽtel 4* tout simplement pas Ă  la hauteur de ses Ă©toiles et son prix. RĂ©ception et services catastrophiques : pas aimable, ne connaissent pas leurs services (lieu, heure, se sont trompĂ©s dans la rĂ©servation d’une activitĂ© qui a Ă©tĂ© annulĂ©e, et nous ont laissĂ© poireauter une heure avant de nous le dire) On demande finalement un changement d’hĂŽtel et un remboursement pour la suite du sĂ©jour : le rĂ©ceptionniste m’assure que c’est bon et 2 jours aprĂšs on reçoit un mail comme quoi on sera pas remboursĂ© 
 (finalement grĂące a hĂŽtel.com c’est chose faite) On avait rĂ©servĂ© cet hĂŽtel en partie pour son restaurant Ă  NoĂ«l, c’était fermĂ©, peu de conseils pour en trouver un autre. Et surtout 
 wifi non fonctionnelle ! EmbĂȘtant pour passer les fĂȘtes. Petit dej variĂ© mais pas sensationnel. A noter, chambre et spa trĂšs agrĂ©ables. Avec vue imprenable sur le lac et volcan osorno. Salon avec cheminĂ©e Dommage !

At check in, the clerk took payment for the room. When I checked my records, I saw that I had prepaid for the room. When we went back to ask about the charge, they promptly refunded the payment.

The only problem was the heating and hot water. When we arrived the room was roasting as o we turned the radiator down. It then took the hotel 2 days to fix after which we didn’t dare touch it and just sweltered. In spite of many requests the hot water was never more than Luke warm. Otherwise a friendly bunch in a good location

Buffet breakfast was outstanding except the coffee, which was terrible. My room appeared to be under construction with a half finished closet..The elevator was dirty for 3 days. My friend in Room 208 had music from the bar below.disturbing her and though she complained the music continued after the bar closing time at 11. The setting of the property is beautiful with a view of the lake and two volcanoes. There was a huge selection of shops and restaurants nearby.
