Hotel was right next to the train station. Plus many buses that go to all major tourist destinations are also there. Check-in was easy, staffs were helpful and friendly. However once I was checked into my “non smoking” room, the smell of cigarette forced me to change room. Staff complied, but the second room has the same issue. So my suspicion was the central air conditioning system. In the end, I had to deal with it by not turning on the air…in “August”! Otherwise everything about the hotel is good.

Convenient location as it was right next to the JR Shizuoka station; also right next to shopping mall and restaurants. Room was spacious for a single room with a large desk and enough room to lay your luggage without it being in the way. Bed and pillows were comfortable; room was clean. Air conditioner worked well. Overall, no issues. Would definitely stay here again!

Shizuoka is good!
The hotel is almost attached tot he JR station, so it is very convenient. The staff are very helpful and kind. There are many things to do in the area, a lot associated with the virees of Mr. Fuji, which can be spectacular.

Best choice for Shizuoka
Very comfortable extra large bed. It was a bit challenging to get the air conditioning to get a steady temperature so needed to adjust frequently. The lunch buffet was just okay and overpriced. But there are LOTS of food options and a supermarket just 2 minutes away. The hotel is literally just a few minutes from the train station. Our corner room was on the opposite side from the station and was really quiet.
