The hotel is located near very good restaurants. Restaurant Dragonfly and Starbucks are right across the street, and Harry's and Liquid Ginger are within walking distance. The only issue is parking - a parking garage is nearby, but with luggage, patrons end up using valet service. You'll need to time your exit, keeping valet car fetch in mind.

Great Location - Loud at Night
Great location for restaurants and downtown Gainesville. Ate at the restaurant across the road both nights. On the DOWN side, the lively night life was a little too loud and lively...until 1:45am both nights with techno-pop music. The hotel offered white noise machines, which we did not realize until later. Also, the A/C was def not on the cool side.
