Room 205 did not have a view of the pool or ocean. It had bugs. It has been the worst stay I’ve experienced this far, in Galveston. I didn’t have the breakfast or use the pool. Only reason I stayed was because I brought my pet and I didn’t want the challenge of trying to find a last minute place to stay. I do recommend Doc Holidays, next door. Good service, great food and happy hour.

Every time I stay in Galveston, I always try to stay at this hotel. It’s kind of my home away from home. You won’t find a nicer hotel at such a great price and an amazing breakfast is always super friendly and helpful. The sheets are always very clean and smell great Beds are extra comfy too like normal stiff beds

The hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast was decent. However, the room wasn’t very clean, especially the bathroom and the room was very musky. There were little bugs around the room. The housekeeper didn’t come the second day even though we booked it with the front desk.

Beach Front Palms Hotel Review I initially wanted to give this hotel 4.5 stars. Everything seemed fine when I arrived, but things changed after dark. A cockroach ran across one of the queen beds, so I had to sleep in the other. Later, I spotted another one’s shadow with my phone flashlight and couldn’t sleep for the rest of the night. The next morning, I switched rooms, but the problem persisted. On the second night, I found small cockroaches in the bathroom and had to kill them. Then, I discovered a larger one stuck on its back near the air unit. While the hotel itself is decent, and breakfast wasn’t bad, they urgently need to spray for bugs regularly—cockroaches can carry diseases. Until they address this issue, I can’t recommend staying here.

Dirty room, grimy, rusty, a roach running around in room, dated, more like a roadside motel, overpriced for quality, in desperate need a deep clean. Wouldn’t stay there again even if it was free. Only saving grace was the newly renovated shower.

Do NOT stay at Beachfront Palms Hotel!
The clerk at the desk announced my room number with a lobby full of people. I’m a single woman traveling alone with a small child. I asked him to change my room. He gave me a room at the rear of the property. It was listed as a hotel but it was a motel. Last night, a man beat in my door and was able to open the door a few inches before the latch stopped it. I had mace and threatened him. Called the front desk. They said they would look at the cameras. A few minutes later the man came back beating on the door. I had a chair shoved against the door handle. Maintenance came up and checked on me. Checked out this morning and none of what happened was recorded in the notes they keep. Of course no manager was available. The place was in bad shape. Stained mattresses, ceiling paint flaking off, mold around bathtub, sandpaper like towels. None of the bad reviews for the Beachfront Palms Hotel showed up when I was looking at hotels. We left early this morning. My little boy cried and was so scared.

The room had tiny cockroaches all over the place, the soap was not filled in the shower, the room smelled. The sheets in one bed were see through thread bare. I would not stay there again if paid.
