Very clean! Staff was friendly enough, but one front desk clerk wasn't very helpful and didn't really help with any questions we had about getting around and about what was in the area. The other front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.

Room had a very bad stinch and shower area was not cleaned very well. It was hard trying to find parking by days end. The breakfast options in the morning at the buffet were extremely limited. A waffle was the highlight of thee food options.

I had a wonderful visit to Galveston, and the hotel was beautiful and clean. I chose this La Quinta for the location, free breakfast, and free parking. The rooms were so nice, and i loved the beach decor. The staff were kind and helpful!

Significant musty smell upon entering reception area. This smell permeated the entire building, including our room which persisted through the night. Bathroom was the nicest part of the room. Bed linens were still damp and difficult to sleep in. Bed uncomfortable.

A good place to stay
The hotel itself was great. The beds were a little too hard- it felt like sleeping on a slightly padded board. The breakfast was ok- but it was free. Everything was clean and tidy and the staff was polite and courteous.

It was beautiful but noisy by the pool and the room. The parking was less than ideal or convenient. Also the location to the beach is a hike. Very misleading. Says west Seawall when you can’t even see the Seawall from the hotel Service was also slow checking on the room . Needed more staff or the one there needs to move quicker. Checking in was better
