Good beds, good breakfast, friendly staff, but there were cockroaches in our room and in the elevator. There is also an awful smell to the entire hotel (like wet dog) that reflects how yucky the carpets are. If they take out the carpets, it would immensely improve the hotel. The slippery showers could really use a grab bar and/or non-slip surfaces. The location is great and the heated pool was wonderful.

So check in counter person had little patience. The maid forgot the towels and after tipping $5 she said she would bring later …. Never happened… hallways , rugs where beat up and could used a vacuuming and replacement … pool was being repaired but the pool across the street was nice…. Breakfast had issues with the equipment being down …. So 1 out of 10 I would give it a 6

The room was old. Room size is too small, made it hard to enter the the restroom, and the room had a very strong bad smell, we had to open the door to the balcony. Room service wasn’t great either, some used towels were just left there by housekeeping after they cleaned the room. The front desk staff was nice, breakfast is atleast good.

The staff is amazing here. While the motel has a good location, close to the beach and restaurants, it is a little dated and not in the best shape (not dirty or anything, just old). HOWEVER, the saving grace of this property is the staff. From the front desk to workers during breakfast to cleaning -- polite, professional, friendly...I haven't had service like this since before COVID.
