Very comfortable place to stay in Galveston, my friends and i stayed here the night before our cruise and it was in a very convenient location only 5 minutes from the port of Galveston. The place was overall very clean and well stocked with anything we would need for our short stay or a long one.

Communication with host was spotty. I didn’t receive check-in instructions until I requested on the day of check-in. When we arrived, we found that there wasn’t a bulb in the one bedroom lamp, the one and only shelf in the bathroom was hanging on its side by one nail and there were no batteries in the light up mirror in the bathroom. None of these are a big deal but I did expect them to be corrected. I messaged host and they responded that they would try to have someone out the next day. That didn’t happen and I never heard back from anyone. The bathroom was warm with no ventilation. Air conditioning is provided by window units. Luckily, we met family at the beach and showered at their condo.

The neighbors do not care about their neighborhood but the property owner cares about their property, do not be deceived by what you see surrounding the VRBO. We woke to a cheap can of beer at the base of the stairs leaving the property which wouldn’t surprise us based on the subjects roaming the streets in this part of town. Would stay again when cruising out of Galveston ports.
