Great location. Nice place to stay. I have a couple of concerns. The one bedroom and bath that is located under the deck. Smells like mold, the floor remains moist all the time. The water pressure in the shower is terrible. It trickels out. The main living areas are nice and very accomidating. Overall the stay was good. Just think these issues should be addressed.

Was a little disappointed that the 4 bedroom was downstairs with outside entrance. We made it work. The outside light on the staircase did not work. A little dangerous. The garbage disposer did not work.(just letting you know). Over all we had a great time. Thanks

Making family memories...
This property has a great location to create memories with all ages. The beach is a short walk away and with vehicles not being allowed on it so you have plenty of room to spread out. There is public parking close by and it was great for us to host a hot dog party for family and adopted family friends (about 40 and ages 3years to ??? Age- we don't talk about age....) get together with a golf cart we rented to transport our family and grandkids and stuff and others using the close public parking, We were able to play in the surf, build sand castles just like our relatives have been doing for almost 175 years! Our house made all of this possible. We did have a couple of hiccups, but Jacob, the owner, was quick to respond to any of my requests and make them happen. The house was clean and ready to go the minute we walked into the door. Another plus is that Jacob owns the house next door so if you need more room check out the other one as well. That is how our family had many vacations renting houses side by side! Come on down the water is fine and make some memories!

Family reunion
Met up with sister & niece/nephews. Had a great reunion. We were able to play at beach, go on amusement rides, even took the ferry over to the peninsula. Nights were relaxing in a quiet neighborhood.

Great location!
This is the perfect location for walking to the beach. We also had two older travelers with us and the bedroom downstairs was perfect for them, so they didn't have to use the stairs as much.

Great location to the beach. Nice house but one bedroom and bathroom are separate downstairs you can’t reach it without going outside. Needs a little TLC was a rip in top of one couch, broken dresser, a few light bulbs out in closets, just minor little things that need fixed. Other than that we had a great time!

Cute house and very close to beach!
The owner, Jacob, is quick and responsive to inquiries or problems throughout the booking, and then our stay. A few things, such a broken toaster, he replaced. Things we noted that needed attention, such as a loose rail on stairs, he was grateful for letting him know. This house is a quick walk to the beach, even though it’s on the 2nd row. You don’t have a great view of the ocean in the morning, but the quick walk to it was worth it to us. Lots of room for a big group in this house! Thanks Jacob!

Much needed vacation
The property was awesome and close to the beach. We really enjoyed the entire week. We had a great time and the weather was great. The downstairs bedroom was a plus since I have been in and out of the hospital for the last three years and have to use a walker or a wheelchair to get around. Jacob was always available and took care promptly of any issues!! We will differently stay here again! Thank you for allowing us to share your home.

Great location
Great location from the beach and not to far from town or corner stores. We had 5 adults and our daughters. 13 & 11. Some how we had plenty of hot water for all of us to take quick showers. We even made use of the out door shower a few times. A/C worked great and kept up. The shutters were nice to black out the front two rooms.

Cozy beach getaway
We went to Galveston for a dance competition for the grand baby and had several friends join us. This cozy beach house was perfect, only 9 minutes from the convention center and 14 from the Pleasure Pier. There was plenty for us to do when not involved in the competition, the beach is just steps away and there was a great fishing cove about a quarter mile out. The fish were biting too!! The Aquarium was also very close. One note, We didn’t need the pull out sofa but pulled it out to see if it was a viable option when one of the little ones was fussy but it was not comfortable in my opinion.

Weather did not fully cooperate but BBQ Pit and Patio made up for it!
Kitchen well stocked with all necessities to put on a feast. Even found a traditional coffee maker (there was also a Keurig) which ch we prefer. All good and from patio can hear and see the Gulf.
