A classic old railway hotel with an abundance of character and a prime Ottawa location close to Parliament Hill and the ByWard Market. Only complaint is the parking situation is a shambles as they don’t allow self-park anymore and there aren’t enough staff to efficiently handle the number of arrivals. Checking-in time consuming as only one staff on counter on a Sunday afternoon.

Amazing hotel. Would have preferred self parking, but completely understand that the hotel caters to higher end customers who prefer valet. The staff were amazing. The beds were amazing, i usually dont sleep through the night and i never woke up.

We are celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary and stayed at this Beautiful hotel. It’s walking distance to many nice restaurants and activities. Upon arrival we received upgrade to a king size bed and parliament view room. Friendly and helpful staff. I lost an outwear and the young lady at concierge help found it . Definitely will stay here again when visit Ottawa.

Okay, but not excellent. It's so called as a 'chateau'. Our bathroom was so old-crumbling tiles and hot tub, pillow cases clean but pillow were stinking. Corridors were also stinking old. Friendly staff.

The room still had refuse in the corners from the previous guest. There were 2 flies that stayed in the room with me. The staff felt dismissive. The gym was carpeted and was without any proper air flow other than a pedestal fan in the corner.
