This was an average hotel and is good for the price. We stayed as a family of 3 ( 2 adults, 1 8 year old) and it was difficult changing privately because of the room layout. Typically in hotels we are able to just go to the bathroom but that room was only big enough for the toilet and tub. There is a little open room where the sink is, but on the backside is the balcony windows ( curtains do close) and then a mirror on bar space that shows a full view of whatever you are doing in the area from one of the beds. We just had to announce we were changing for a little privacy. There is also little storage in the rooms ( 2 smalls drawers and a closet) so we couldn’t put away all of our clothes for the week we were staying. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast food. We planned to use the pool more often but it was very hot and humid in the glass enclosed room. A good 20 degrees warmer than outside so I couldn’t imagine how that would be during the summer. They also didn’t have any towels when we went, but I called the front desk and they brought some quickly. The traffic is very loud at night, several emergency vehicles went throughout the night, and the river is also noisy. Nothing the hotel could help but it is something to think about if you need quiet to sleep. The staff that we encountered were kind and professional. Overall, the stay was average at best but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the distance to town. It’s a 15-30 min walk to go anywhere.

We loved the room! It was spacious, beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the river. The shower was nice with different settings and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast bar was very good with lots of food for picky eaters to not so picky. It was close to the downtown area of Gatlinburg.

Ok but…

Room was very clean, spacious and decorated nicely for a budget hotel but the uncomfortable bed and extremely loud road noise was unbearable. After 2 nights of no sleep we checked out early.

Balcony and view of river was peaceful! Breakfast was good, but layout wasn’t easy to move around. We were fine to walk to downtown Gatlinburg but would be far for some. There was a trolly stop close, but we did not use it.

We loved it :)

The room was neat and clean, the balcony with view of the river was amazing and perfect to relax on. The pool and patio area was clean as well. And it was a great location to walk into town.

Really nice place, on the road so bring earplugs, or something. You could leave the balcony door open and hear the river though, was just to cold when we went. Easy to walk everywhere. Perfect getaway.

Online it said they had rollaway beds for a surcharge but they don’t. The road in front of the hotel was super noisy with big trucks. No towel racks to put wet towels on. Noisy old air conditioner unit.

The views were amazing. The location was at the far end of the strip, so it would be a long walk to most attractions. The breakfast area was above 80 degrees every morning; it was very uncomfortable. Spills in the super busy elevator were rarely cleaned. Most of the staff was polite.

Beautiful view of the Smokies from every single balcony of the hotel and the soothing sound of the river beneath was lovely and very relaxing... We kept the balcony door open as much as we could. Breakfast is ok but needs more choices becuase with a 5 night stay it becomes boring. Great location, walking distance to many places. Housekeeping does a great job daily. We will return to this hotel soon!
