8th floor. Great view. Great location. Parking garage and hot breakfast were nice amenities. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Least favorite thing was elevators. Paint and trimwork was sloppy.

Good location and that’s it
The location is great and the room was clean, but the hotel is very old and outdated. Breakfast was taken away at 9:45 when they say it’s open til 10. Yogurt was expired that was served for breakfast and sodas from the drink machine were also expired. Some expired as much as 11 months. tthey’re not very friendly at the front desk during check in. The lady at check in says the parking area is 6’4 inches tall, so if you’re a grown man you won’t be able to walk standing up, much less park your truck in there. They will provide parking up the street in a sketchy gravel parking lot with no security and you can walk half a mile in the cold, but if you go in after 9, it will cost you $20.00. Unless it’s really cheap, there is no reason to stay here.

Great place to stay within easy walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the included hot continental breakfast was great. Definitely would stay here again.

Great stay, the best so far
We were very comfortable and happy staying here. The property is very nice and very clean. Our room was very clean and our bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was nice with thoughtful options both cold and hot. The location is central to all the Gatlinburg action which made it very convenient since everything was walkable. I would suggest bringing earplugs. This is nothing against the hotel, the garbage trucks collecting in Gatlinburg were very loud and disrupted my sleep every night. We had a river view and were almost at top floor. Maybe choosing Mountain View would help. Not sure.

Hotel parking was confusing, and it was confusing trying to figure out where to go to check in. The rooms were small and hard to navigate with our luggage inside. Also, there was a haunted house attraction right next to it bar played loud music all night, which could be heard in the room while we tried to sleep. There was frequent marijuana smoking by other guest which stunk our room and we were told by staff there was nothing they could do about it. The hot water was inconsistent and swapped from hot to cold without warning. Our room keys quit working our 2nd, preventing us from going in our rooms and we had to take them back to the staff and have them reprogrammed. Worst vacation stay we have had, and we take at least two trips a year. If you value space, peace, and a family atmosphere, try somewhere else.

We liked the location over the stream. It has a nice and unusual indoor outdoor pool and firepit. Breakfast was enjoyable and came with a nice view of the stream.
