This cabin's location is prime. You will be minutes away from the attractions of Gatlinburg:
Explore great Gatlinburg attractions at one of its unique museums, craftsmen fair, miniature golf courses, water parks, motion simulators and Go-Karts or bumper cars. Check out one of the nation's best aquariums, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. The Gatlinburg Ripley's also features mini golf, haunted adventures, mirror maze, a moving theater, a fun zone and, of course, the famous Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum. Gatlinburg is also known for its Golf, specialty shops, restaurants, Whitewater Rafting, biking, hiking, and Canopy zip lines.

Or adventure out on one of the many amazing hikes in Smokey Mountain National Forest, here you will find true serenity.

Bear's Escape Cabin is also minutes away from Pigeon Forge:
Here you can enjoy a day at Dollywood. Or one of the many other activities found in Pigeon Forge, such as water parks, Titanic Museum, Wonder Works, Magic Quest, miniature golf, go karts, fairs, dinner theater shows, shopping outlets, and pancake houses galore.

Bears Escape Cabin is a great location to try out Dollywood — rides that go 60 mph through four inversions and a zero-gravity roll. Of course, the 200-foot-high coaster’s cars are built to look like the national bird. Wonderful Country shows and music. Great restaurants and shopping.

Some of our favorite hikes are:
Mingo Falls
Mingo Falls is on the Cherokee Indian Reservation (Qualla Boundary), just outside Great Smoky Mountains National Park. No special permits are required for access to the reservation. At 120 feet tall, the waterfall is one of the tallest and most spectacular in the southern Appalachians. The hike to the waterfall is only 0.4 miles in length, but is considered moderate in difficulty. Access Trail: Pigeon Creek Trail Trailhead: From Oconaluftee Visitor Center, drive south (toward Cherokee) on US-441 and take the second left onto Big Cove Road. At the first stop sign turn left and drive 4.5 miles to Mingo Falls Campground, where the trail begins.
Juney Whank Falls
Juney Whank Falls is divided into an upper and lower section. Both can be viewed from the footbridge which crosses Juney Whank Branch at the falls. Together they drop 90 feet from top to bottom. The trail to the waterfall is 0.8 miles roundtrip and is considered moderate in difficulty.
Grotto Falls
Trillium Gap Trail meanders through an old-growth hemlock forest and actually runs behind the 25 foot high waterfall. The cool, moist environment near the falls is ideal for salamanders and summer hikers. The hike is 3 miles roundtrip and considered moderate Trailhead: From the parkway in Gatlinburg, turn at traffic light #8 and follow Historic Nature Trail into Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Take Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail to stop #5 where there is a large parking area. This one is close and absolutely beautiful. I last hiked it with my 60 year old mother and 4 nieces and nephews ranging in age from 3-11 years old. We saw 3 bears at a distant, swam in the reflective pool of the falls, and had a fun-filled day without over doing it.

Pets must be pre-approved based on age, weight, and breed. Pet fee applies.

If you bring unauthorized pets into the cabin, will result in an early check out required. All pets must be disclosed and approved prior to booking.

Perfect Couples Getaway
We really enjoyed every bit of our stay and found this cabin to be perfect for us! The cabin was very clean including the hot tub. The location is great with less than 10 minutes to Gatlinburg and about 15 to Pigeon Forge with traffic. We had a couple minor issues but the host was quick to respond and address everything. For those curious about the WiFi, my wife and I both worked for multiple days with video conferencing and the WiFi was able to meet our needs! I recommend this place for any couple looking to getaway!

Peaceful home away from home
Beautiful location, had everything we need ( for 2 ) it’s far away enough to enjoy Mountain View’s and walks, and close enough to attractions, gas stations and stores for your needs. They have a cute guest book to write about your stay ( we forgot to write in it before leaving) but it was an amazing stay- we would definitely come back! It was so cozy and relaxing. Communication was very easy, and I always got a response quickly. It did rain a lot the first night of our stay but we didn’t mind because the sound of the rain was relaxing and we were in an amazing cabin lol. Only recommendations I’d say is the couch is a little smaller, wish they had a recliner but that may just be me! Only “ issue “ was the amount of cobwebs outside and the amount of stink bugs that were on the patio furniture but luckily my girlfriend doesn’t mind of bugs like I do.. so she took care of sweeping out the cobwebs and getting the bugs away lol.

Terrible
The pictures do not represent the cabin do not be fooled. Ripped couch, stained couch pillows, zero view, large spiders nests surrounding the hot tub, only a coat rack to hang up clothes, the decks are very questionable, the blinds broken in bathroom, the location is not prime. The road is a no fault road which means if there's an accident it's your responsibility, the road is steep and windy and has one lane. The host was dismissive and we stayed in a hotel day one. Then when we returned to the property the next day she changed the code and we couldn't get our pictures. Horrible experience and will not be back. Also if you want a view, the pictures online are not accurate at all. Not worth the money we wasted. Also it is very small so don't expect much room.

Great location
We had a great stay at this mountain cabin. For us, the location was key. Easy to get to town and not very far up the mountain but still gave a rustic mountain feel. We saw turkeys and we actually had a small bobcat follow us while we walked our dog. We read that was unusual but we saw it 2 different times on our stay. Speaking of walks for dogs, there is not a yard as it is wooded, but you can walk up the road and that worked fine for us. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. There is a nice deck that overlooks trees with jacuzzi. We didnt use it but it looked nice. Overall, we had a great stay here and would recommend to others. nice.

Great time!
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay here. It’s a perfect location, very clean, and quiet. We brought a blow up mattress for one of my kiddos to sleep on and the other slept on the couch and they did just fine (ages 9 & 11). Host was very responsive and I loved The hot tub and kids loved the game room. My husband and I said We would definitely stay there again. Anakeesta was our favorite and wish we would have eaten dinner there. Great time!!

It was a very nice cabin, but a little smaller than the pictures showed. Would not have been enough room for four people, but was OK for two. The deck was a little tight, but like I said very nice for two people.

Had a wonderful time. The cabin is in a great location to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. We had our two year old boxer with us and we were within a short drive to the Gatlinburg trailhead that allows dogs and the Mills dog park. We spent a great amount of time hiking and just relaxing. Thank you for providing a beautiful place to stay with our dog.

Beautiful Location
This cabin was just right for our small family of 4. The cabin was beautiful and the location was perfect. My two little girls had so much fun in the game room. My husband and I truly enjoyed the solace nature and views from the back deck. We had our morning coffee in the fresh mountain air looking at the mountain. We saw 2 deer, so many of birds and chipmunks. On the drive to the park we saw a small black bear. The cabins is an easy drive to the park and the host recommended the perfect hike for us. This vacation was a delight. Easy to book, clean beautiful cabin, with the perfect location. My husband was impressed with how good the wifi streaming was and the selection of shows and movies. We are looking at coming back in the fall and staying here again.

We had a fantastic time at the cabin! The cabin was adorable and so cozy. Perfect for the two of us for a nice weekend in the mountains. It was super easy to get to the National Park, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We slept so well in the comfy bed, and really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace. The checkin process was super easy, we had everything we needed and extras were close by in Pigeon Forge. The host was very responsive and was able to accommodate us when we had a last minute change, which we greatly appreciate. We HIGHLY recommend this cabin for couples. It was PERFECT!
