The first impression on entering was the smell. The hotel has pets (a large dog and a long-haired cat) which unfortunately make the ground floor, including the dining room, quite smelly. Definitely to be avoided if you have any kind of animal allergy!
It's a budget hotel, so we weren't expecting a high level of comfort. The room was cramped, with one of the single beds at an angle, to allow access to the bathroom. The décor was hideous, but the room was clean and the beds were perfectly comfortable.
