Comfortable house in stunning gardens

This spacious house is perfect for a family holiday or a couples retreat in a peaceful beautiful garden.
Boasting 3 generous sized bedrooms, and 4th bedroom more suited as a child's room with single size bed, there is plenty of space for everyone.
The upstairs has 3 bedrooms: a huge master bedroom with a King bed, (and small balcony). The second bedroom has twin (long size ) single beds. There is also small child’s room
There is a bathroom with shower and separate toilet upstairs.
Downstairs we have the lovely Queen bedroom which has its own access to a sitting area on the veranda (ideal for guests who don’t want to climb stairs or simply to have quiet space), and another bathroom with shower and toilet.
The kitchen and living areas are well equipped and comfortable. There are additional spaces such as the conservatory and laundry.
There's lots of choices for where to relax and savour the peaceful location with a large deck catching all day sun and expansive rural and mountain views, and a sheltered pergola with swing seat, BBQ and covered outdoor dining area. A paved seating area and enticing garden adds to the allure with plenty of room to roam or enjoy a BBQ meal, while kids play on swings and enjoy the many hidden play areas under shaded trees.


Nearby, walking tracks lead through native forest (Talbot forest) down to Geraldine village with plenty of cafes and other interesting attractions. There are plenty of options for exercise: from gentle flat walks around the Downs to forest trails and mountain bike tracks.

Lovely setting with clear views of the mountains
We were made very welcome. Delightful hosts, very keen to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them. House and grounds were outstandingly good.

Wonderful relaxing location
A wonderfully set up home set in the most beautiful location. Beautiful country garden with interesting areas for children to explore and lots of lawn for them to play and run. The house was clean and tidy and our two families had enough space to spread out. Can’t wait to come back again

Lovely place
We stayed at Marsh House for a few days and it was lovely. The gardens are beautiful, our kids loved it. We recommend it for anyone looking for a place to while in wanting to explore Geraldine and surrounding areas.
