The hotel was larger than what I expected. I was told there were limited time to check in, if I missed the time I might need to check in the next day, so I thought the hotel was very small. But it was a bit complicate to change elevators to locate the restaurants and different onsens. There were free parking and the parking lot was quite close to the hotel building.
We stayed at the new wing for a night. The room is so new and clean (while the main building is kinda old). Each floor there are only 5 rooms so it's very quiet here.
Hot spring for men is just renovated and it looks sooooo nice. It's still a Japanese style with a modern touch.
We didn't join the dinner as there's quite a few nice traditional restaurants nearby. Breakfast is buffet style and it's just no good....they don't have enough seats so you need to wait for your tables. Food choices are mainly Japanese. It does no harm if you miss it, having food from convenince store would be even happier.
A bit disappointed. The annex room balcony doesn't have any chairs like photos on website, so it's a bare balcony. Worse still, the hotel doesn't offer any 2-meal plan for single traveler even if I'd be happy to pay more for adding dinner.
