Great value and location. Outdated furnishings and bathroom but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is weak coffee and pre-packaged danish. Location great… park and walk to most everything. Would stay here again.

I had reserved a room with 2 beds at the three Crowns motor lodge-they bumped me to a one bed in The Colton inn-finally gave me atwo bed room. The overly cloying floral scent almost knocked me over when I opened the door. I asked the staff for a nuetralizer and got another smell-did not use. Too late to change motels-but extremely disappointed in the downgrade-she mentioned overbooking. Will not reserve at either motel in the future.

I brought my daughter down for her 18th Birthday. The room looked like it had new flooring but the smell of cleaner was extremely strong. It didnt look like the floor was swept before it was moped. The top cover was not clean it had what looked to be pizza sauce on it. Thankfully we brought our own blankets. I will be back give them a second chance. Hopefully its better.

We’ve stayed there before for a quick stop. This time the room was “clean” looking but, things changed. My top sheet wasn’t washed because of some bug bites I couldn’t figure out. Found crumbs on the white sheets. The tv didn’t work properly. Our door would not lock from the outside. It wasn’t busy so they could have given us a really cleaned room. The lady at the front desk didn’t really care and kinda felt like she was saying “thems the breaks”. No offer for a refund or discount. Sadly, we’re not going back. I have pictures of the bites from the sheets.

Staff was good. Rooms had Roku tv’s, but couldn’t access Roku channels (staff person said you had to sign into your own Roku account - however, there was no way to do that). The plastic on the lamps was torn/peeling. “Breakfast” was one packaged pastry and one cup of coffee. Was told by the desk person that the owner only allows them to make TWO pots of coffee per day. So if they run out of coffee before “breakfast” ends at 10 AM, too bad. I’ve paid half the price at other places and they were twice as good (I’m staying at such a place through Expedia as I write this). Would definitely NOT recommend.

I needed a cheap place to crash while at Gettysburg. It is what it is. Old Best Western motel. New wood planks in bed area. OLD bathroom. For the most part it was clean. Sheets and towels were fresh. Staff dropped of new towels on day 2. I felt safe. Looks to be a few regular residents but no issues. Very quiet.

outside door didnt shut good, bathroom door didnt shut at all,toilet seat was wrong style and was loose, floor was dirty when walking with white socks, socks became extremely dirty, no hair dryer although attachment for one was on the wall, very dated room

Certainly convenient. I'll cut a lot of slack for character but this is one really dated property -- in kind of a charming way, in some respects. Classic old tile bathroom, for example. My room had two beds; I only needed one, which was fortunate as one squeaked with every movement. In the other, however, I slept well. Bathroom wasn't as clean as it should be.
