Close to train station. Lots of shops and restaurants near by. Room temperature cannot be controlled. No usb charging ports. Room bathroom exhaust not working. Nice buffet breakfast (japanese and western style). Walls between rooms are a bit thin. Good public bath.
Compact and cosy room. Located next to train station which makes it very convenient.

The room was very small. The airconditioning was not the best. My room was very stuffy and I had to open my window to circulate air. This was an issue because it was hot and muggy outside. Also, right under my window was Ogaki station so I could hear every train that passed with the window open which made it difficult to sleep. My room was dusty and it looked like the desk around the tv had never been cleaned. When I went into the bathroom the tub had hair in it.
I booked a double room but we were allocated a ‘large’ single. To pass by each other in the room, you had to climb on the bed, the person sleeping on the wall side had to climb over the other, when lying in bed my feet touched the window cill, there was no wardrobe for clothes, no space for the suitcases which had to be stacked on top of each other, if you used the same towels for four days you were ‘rewarded’ with a small bottle of water, etc.etc. Literally not enough room to swing the proverbial cat! The town view from the bedroom window was a wall. We moved out after THREE days to another location.
This APA hotel has two Japanese style spas.
I relaxed myself every night and morning with the spa.
In my room, there was a narrow corridor just behind the entrance door, at the first time, I could not enter my room with putting the backpack on. There was a middle size desk, and I could do my homework in comfortable.
My room was located on the 10th floor, And I could see the great Oogaki city viewing.

Good value budget hotel
Not the largest of rooms but sufficient for a single person. The cleaning staff seem to have the sort of vacuum cleaner that stops a few inches from the skirting board but generally the room is well maintained. The hot baths on the top floor are always an added bonus, along with the ( almost ) daily bottles of water. The internet is free and a lot more consistent than my previous visit and bathroom essentials such as razor, toothbrush, hairbrush, sponge and cotton buds are replenished every day, if used. There are also two pairs of bedroom ‘ slippers ‘ provided. A fresh dressing gown is left each day in your room if you have used one. For the cost of the room, booked through an appropriate agency, the hotel is good value for money. If you require something more than one solitary green teabag however, it’s a good idea to take your own refreshments along with you.
Good location, nice bath and breakfast. Tiny room!
Loved the breakfast buffet. The hot spring baths were also nice. The hotel is conveniently located right near the train station. My only problem was the size of the room: I am okay with a small space, but the room had very narrow walkways from the door to the bed and window. There was not much room to move around in, and the only place I could open my large suitcase was on the bed!
The room is tiny but clean. It's cheaper than staying in guest house sharing room with others. Super close to JR station, very convenient to visit other places.

Tiny room in Ogaki.
My husband and I were in town visiting friends. Hotel was tiny -- not uncommon in Japan, but we couldn't even open our suitcase unless it was on the bed. The shower had some mold spots and a mildly unpleasant smell, though the room was clean otherwise. The staff were always friendly, and we had no problems otherwise. Super easy two minute walk from the station, didn't have their breakfast as there are places nearby I like.
I think that the compact room functions well, e.g. a small desk with a small swivel chair and high speed WiFi. It was quiet in spite of just next to Ogaki railway station. It takes within 5 min to JR, Private railway and Bus station by walk. It will be recommended for business men or women to stay there. The room at 9F provided a nice view of mountains in the blue sky in the direction of North. Also the breakfast was good. The reasonable price reflects on the suitable or more service etc.
