So convenient!
Our stay at Rinconín at the height of the Gijon summer was delightful. The property managers responded to our questions before arrival and provided a useful guide to assist us in our stay. The home itself is in a perfect location for a large group with different interests to explore the city and come and go to its many beautiful beaches, parks, cafés and other attractions - literally just outside the gates of the housing complex. Once we realized that there are buzzers to get in and out of the property, we were less limited by the fact of only two key sets. Parking was no problem for our 3 cars, with one reserved garage spot and a surface lot on the premises. This information should be added to the property manual, to assist future guests. The property was clean and in good condition, and it was great to have three full ARHS with a house full of people. There were a few things that would have improved our stay. The basement is damp and and should have a dehumidifier running to keep it healthy - we had to keep the windows and doors open to air out the smells in order to make it useable space. The property should have a laundry rack or drying line set up before guest arrival. And the owners should do a check to ensure there are enough table settings and bedding for the advertised occupancy rate. Small improvements like these will make this a perfect place for a summer family vacation, and we look forward to returning!
