Overall this was a very nice, clean property. We just needed a place to break up our late night drive from St Louis to Chicago. We appreciated the coffee, snacks and wine to greet us - and my business partner (we're both men) def got a chuckle out of the chalkboard greeting us as me and "my wife." We stayed on a Thursday night and it was super quiet all night and morning. It is worth noting that the house is across from a bank parking lot and convenience store - and what appears to be "the main drag" - but again it was quiet. I took an early morning stroll walking northeast on Pine into a very nice, quaint neighborhood. Cons: Wasn't crazy about the backyard neighbors stuff all over their lawn. Bedroom closest to front door had cheap-feeling/saggy bed. And the sheets and comforter smelled liked they were soaked in dryer sheets - it was super irritating to someone like me who is sensitive to chemicals in the air and in bedding - and it definitely affected my sleep. I highly recommend using free & clear detergent (I saw you had it in the laundry room) and not using dryer sheets - like hotels and most all of the rentals we stay in do. I have rented coast to coast for decades, been a landlord, house-flipper, etc for most of my adult life - so these comments are purely to help you and obviously can be taken or left. Thanks again and hope that helps.
