The town of Gimli and surrounding area is yours to explore!
Once the lake freezes, it’s a great destination for ice fishing and taking a drive on the lake.
Winter activities include snow shoeing, cross country skiing and more!
In the summer, Gimli is one of Manitoba’s main tourist attractions, including during the Icelandic Festival, to go kite surfing and enjoy the lake in 1000 other ways.

Terrific hosts & property
The hosts took great care to stock the property with everything we could have possibly needed for our stay! Instruction book was complete and well-written. Could not have been better.
